I'm NMS but have 450k right now. I can't think of any player to add except fully PU Brown with his 99? With my strat cards etc I already have a blue 99 on him and wondered if the 600k+ was worth it or whether that 450 could be better spent?
I also see that Redux Brown is often more coin than the LTD but never 250k less? That makes no sense to me? Is there a reason for that?

The redux sells for training. The LTD has a 250k coin QS.
Some things to take in consideration if you want but arent necessary. Just my opinions.
-LG Saffold
-C Johnson (oop)
-All your WR could be changed if you want: Moss/Rice/Rison
-You have Patterson so you dont need Bo but I like Bo better.
-KJ/Mayowna ROLB
-Derrick Johnson MLB (probably way cheaper than Brown will be)
-Mack/Rison LOLB
-Hendricks pimp SS
-CB like WR could use a full makeover if you wanted: Moss/Haynes/Patterson
So you could spend better/more impactful money elsewhere but its up to you

No legends. No duplicate numbers. And no OOP (which I really hate).
I play mostly 4-3 so stayed away from Mayowa and didn't see KJ as a meaningful update as I sub in Brown on 4-3 and go Mack in 3-4.
Might just keep banking the coin for RP Tokens when I break the side down in a month or so.

I would just use it for RP if you plan on playing next year.
I think I'll do that although its the first time in years I've seriously thought about not buying '23. Last year I didn't bother with '22 until November so as to save £25.00 on a game that was pretty much '21 with better graphics? This year its been mostly dull with too many gimmicky promos IMO and the gameplay still sucks. I think I'll see what 2K does.
Yeah Im in the same boat as you. Unless I can get it cheap/free from a friend I dont think Ill start right off the bat unless I get suckered in but I say every year is my last year for the past 4 years lol

I think there are better ways to spend it. Your center could use some upgrading, maybe Derrick Johnson?

He's not worth the coin - Derrick Johnson should be the one you add to replace Bolton, I know you don't do OOP but consider it for GT Ted Hendricks lol

Sorry guys, just can't get behind Legends and OOP both of which I think are stupid. I know loads of players like it but it's just not for me as I'm really a CFM player whose wife won't stand him playing in a CFM anymore! LOL

I've heard a lot about CFM but I don't think I understand what it stands for. Is it just multiplayer franchise mode?

Career Franchise Mode.
You can join open Franchises but I've always played in a private one. In good ones you get 32 players who run the 32 teams. Most play 4 or 5 seasons in the year (2 games a week) the game is current so you get to take the team as it is in real life and then GM it for the duration of the game - training, trading, drafting, building the roster through FA and playing the games. In good Franchises, you have pretty strict rules around gameplay (no crazy rollouts, can't call a play more than 3 times, fourth-down rules, etc) and the settings are tweaked via sliders to make it play as true to real life as possible. The one I was in had its own website and linked up to something called Daddies which is an online tool that monitors the league. You had to record your games on Twitch so people could watch them if they wanted to check you were keeping to the rules.
Personally, I really liked it. Compared to MUT its much more involving but the gameplay rules and the fact that you have to develop the team and keep within the salary cap means that if you have a team above 85OVR your doing well. It plays slower obviously and can be pretty frustrating if you have one of the crappier teams. If MUT and the 99 Lamaars sprinting to the sideline before throwing a perfect spiral 50 yards across their body is driving you nuts it might be worth a go.
