Joey Porter

So, I just got porter today. I’ve used him in multiple games today, and yes, the coverage/knockout thing is extremely good. However, he is a liability when it comes to press coverage. There wasn’t a single time when I was in press man coverage that he was not getting beat off the line. I suggest using him if you have a defensive strategy card that helps with Press Coverage (PRS). 

edit - he’s still bad in man but better in zone, there are better CBs available so if you don’t want to grind for a decent CB don’t do it. Youre not missing out

Also if you play zone

if you’re playing man he’s probably a liability but there’s not a lot of good man corners

PRC = play recognition

PRS = press

both are fine on Porter as is.  Regardless, any tt boosts will get both 96+.  I think mine (without checking) boosted to 98/99 with tier 3 Steeler motivator and strats.

In game he‘s crazy good.  I press a whole lot and if anything he‘s better for me in the press.

As with most cards it just depends on scheme.  In nickel/big nickel (man or zone) he’s maybe best in game.

What does the passive coverage ability mean. It's an x factor without being an x factor and is always on. Is it worth replacing NTL with him
