I didn't expect my first run to be that deep, but I made it to the Superbowl, and lost it because I'm an idiot
The first drive of the game I was moving the ball slowly but steadily, then within the opponent's 10 yards I called a wrong RPO. I thought it was one of those auto-handoff RPOs, but it wasn't. Montana kept the ball to himself, I saw green grass ahead and rushed forward. I should've slid, but when it was only a couple yards to the endzone I decided to go for it. Of course, I fumbled.
My next drive I threw the weirdest pick ever. I don't know exactly what happened. It wasn't a bad read or a risky pass. In fact, it was a simple and short throw, I freeformed it away from the defender, but somehow it was badly missed and intercepted for a pick 6.
For the remainder of the game I scored on every possession. It was easy, 'cause my opponent was sitting in the same Cover 2 defense the whole game. But unfortunately it wasn't enough, 'cause he scored on every possession too. I couldn't stop his RPO. I had a few swats, wish one of those were an INT. But in the end I lost by 7 pts.
Moral of the story: learn how to stop RPOs, kids.
