My guess is some people found a way for the cross progression that used to exist between PC and console to work in M24. I know I did that for a bit in M22 because you could get the extra progression on both consoles, and the rewards were duplicated on both. M23 it only worked for one season, and the rewards only went to one of the two so you had to be careful about where your rewards went.
