And then the haves & have nots are pushed into the same PVP mode where the have nots are beaten down with those very same cards they can't buy themselves. I think people have become conditioned over time to believe that this is something we as a community should just accept but change can happen if enough people decide they want it.
Honestly itll just get worse. Weve seen it time in time again year after year.
Only Champs is non ELO, all the others are so unless youre spending all that money and bad player then thats the only time you'd see them.

Wait till Halloween and theyll be around half the price.
exactly my thoughts lol all these kids crying about it when I'm NMS and have a 87 ovr team XD

Gotta ask yourself if it's even worth the Dev time to come up with these promo's that most people can't take advantage of? EA wants to create that FOMO feeling so you in frustration go out and spend money on their store which wouldn't be a bad thing per se if they were required to offer you value but they're not. Any bundle someone spends $50 plus on should guarantee you some value instead of pure randomness. This is where people want the government to get involved in the regulation of these practices that fall under gambling. And EA is going to do their best to suck up every penny until regulation is forced on them.

That regulation can't come soon enough.

It's going to happen eventually. The biggest change that will occur because of that is they will be forced to give you something of value guaranteed instead of random value. A company operating in good faith with their consumers would be doing this from the beginning instead of being forced to not screw people over for profit. The NFL isn't without fault here either. They could force EA to be better by threatening to yank their license away.

Thats exactly the point of it. FOMO and spending money to think you have to have this crazy team. As long as you are within thresholds youre fine. It makes them money and you have youtubers and twitch streamers saying omg this card is amazing?!! (but it only beats a threshold from the last prior one that still works just as fine) and people go nuts.
Its all a gamble. They do technically circumvent the regulations by putting the %s of packs on there (they used to not doing it at all). So you do know what your odds are and I mean, everyone should know that packs are never worth it. Thats why you gotta flip cards to make money. Thats why youre betting off buying [redacted] to directly get what you want.
Its all about money. Just like the scratch tickets you buy or the lottos. If it makes them money they dont care if youre gullible enough to spend money on it, even if it costs you everything to end up with nothing.

I said in my other posts that posting the %s is good enough as is for the current rules; And even in the straight banned ones in other countries, they get around it by doing other things. Its NEVER going to be in your favor.
I mean most of y’all gotta be lying because you all can’t be nms and still have these amazing teams without spending

I was around when MUT started and I understand what you're saying but it's progressively gotten worse. I've thought for years it's bullshit your coins don't transfer from the previous Madden to the new Madden. We the community could force as much change as we want if everyone just got together and made it happen. People just can't be bothered to focus their attention on anything for more than the length of a TikTok video so we get the screws put to us a little bit more each year. There has to be a line we collectively set to say enough is enough.

NMS just means youre not putting extra money to the game. If youre good at flipping you can have millions of coins to blow. Its really not hard. Even knowing what/who to go after or how to be savvy on coins can keep you playing and have a good team. Lots of people know how to play the game or get the most bang for you buck and either wait it out till cards are cheaper or work the system. If you keep about 500/600k on hand, you can keep with a mostly up to date thing. Seven, I think made a good post on it last week- tried to find it but gave up.
You dont need all the shiny new cards. Just stay up to date on thresholds and youll do what you need to to save money. My team is 35 Steelers and a bunch of freebies. Just getting your BND and selling the master sets is the way to go. Between Headliners, UK, and CH almost everyone has a full 86/87 team or better.

This is a full BND Team from just the 3 programs we have. You can probably mix out here and there depending on what you like but this is super solid at least. This is like 5 full run throughs. Maybe cost you 500k? After you do them all and sell the master.

Yeah I agree with that. The problem though means less money for them and they cant have that dipping profits now can they smh.
If you could roll over coins, everyone would just have God squads the entire time because everything is so cheap at the end of the game. Then newer players would complain they cant keep up because everyone has more coins from previous games. But it would be way more consumer friendly to just reset the game than rebuying it every year, especially when they arent making engine changes.
I am not sure why this promo was a L when for me I made extra coins. I get some of the players are not the most exciting but overall a few are worth keeping.
I sniped 87 overall players when this promo first came out today and I was at 2.5 million and after doing three sets I am now close to 2.8 million coins.
For me this promo was great. I sold off the high end cards and just kept the 87 overall ones.

Yeah I agree. We essentially buy a roster upgrade most years anyway with years like this one being an exception with Field sense. Any coins accumulated from real money should roll over year to year without exception. I remember when you used to be able to buy coins in MUT.
I dont recall buying able to do that directly except for the plat players.
I dont think even Field Sense is real upgrade to it. They changed some coding and called it a day. You can really tell what matters more/less this year than last.
