LBs...better against the run. They are bigger, fast enough and with Lurk Artist do a fine job of pass coverage.

I prefer LBs especially if you can equip lurk artist for 0 ap. Anyone who can get one of the best abilities in the game for free is going to be very good since abilities run this game.
That said if you're on old gen and can't use lurk artist you should go with safeties. Another argument I can see for safeties is if you think they feel better to user than LBs.

When you user a LB with lurk artist, do you have to hold left trigger when you push on Y to intecept ?

I use Jack Campbell and OOP Mike Evans. Like everyone said, LB with Lurk Artist and good coverage are really good and help contain the run. But Campbell does feel a little clunky to user but Evans is butter smooth and covers so much ground when I control him.

I’m using three LBs now. 6-1 or nickel 3-3 with Allen, Ray, and Warner. Been the best defense I’ve had all year.

This trio with free lurk artist across the board is insane for me. Ray Lewis has also been my best defensive end from dime normal.

Yes sir! I put Allen in the middle and let Warner and Ray do their thing. Unless I man up allen. I even switched to 25 49ers for Warner, Sherman, Rice. I had Deion but I am using Evans at Corner 3.
Are you saying Ray comes in automatically in Dime normal or you sub him there?

I sub Ray (and sometimes Warner too) at DE.

I use a SS and a LB, so there is someone to stop the run and someone to pass cover. Rn I have 92 Ray Lewis and Pat Tillman in.

Hopefully i'll get at least a ~month out of big Fred. 6'3" USER with 94 SPD on my 49ers theme team, he's an absolute monster. One of the few cards in the entire game that can keep pace with top end WRs.
Although, if someone told me they were using Mike Evans and/or Keenan Allen at SUBLB/USER, i'd be hard pressed to tell anyone they're doing it wrong. Bunch of legit options, but my preferences tend towards big, fast bodies and theme team, of course. Bang bang.
