Let’s see your squad for the ZC event

Rules: 4 players >88 OVR, 4x ZC players, no players <80 OVR. 

let’s see them team builders. 

I might even sell off my team for the time being and rebuy on christmas as i’ll probably play this mode exclusively tbh

EA ain't forcing me to rebuild my team.  I'm running a 93 OVR team, and it's staying  that way

Frankly they can kiss my a@@ with forcing us to abandon the cards we all worked hard for just to get snow to buy presents.

Actually glad someone posted this content. I enjoy the theory-crafting and team building, often as much as this buggy ass gameplay we're dealing with. I have a lot of mixed feelings about this promo, kind of hate it when they gate content behind paywalls, but 4 Zero Chill isn't too steep, everyone should at least get a chance of they want.

I just started mulling this over, was going to start by selecting the four 89+ OVR card choices, thinking two on each side of the ball:

1. Joe Flacco (or maybe Hurts, but think I want Slinger 1 for this)
2. Tyreek Hill
3. Fred Warner
4. Mike Evans ??

From there, who knows. Whatever I have in my binder, probably those 88 OVR Mix-up Monday cards, 88 Dre Greenlaw... I suspect people will find ways around, unless EA bases check on individual base cards. What if I sneak someone in as KR3, does that actually count? I'm not convinced EA is competent enough to pull this off.

Overall this stuff feels somewhat insulting to the broader community and Christmas spirit. Bleh.

I think we might be able to get better players in your lineup if you put them OOP, which would break the event tbh

I don't know about you guys, but I don't like these lineup restricted events at all. I loved Limited in NBA 2K23, it was one of my favorite game modes, but Madden and NBA 2K are too different in terms of squad building and card collecting. 

1. NBA 2K is a card collecting game - there are collector rewards (collect 100 cards and get a reward, collect another 100 and get another reward etc.) The game stimulates you to have tons of cards in your binder. In Madden you don't need to keep tons of unnecessary cards (especially since there are no power ups in the game anymore) - you just sell or quicksell any cards you don't use.

2. In NBA 2K when you complete a set, the set pieces become "locked" - you can't sell or quicksell them, they stay in your collection forever. In Madden set pieces disappear after their set is complete.

1 + 2 = in NBA 2K you usually have lots of different cards at your disposal, so it's easy to create a Limited lineup for this week's tournament. In Madden you usually have nothing extra, and you have to buy a bunch of 88 overalls for some stupid new event

something like this, I already have a lot of these cards, or the binder trash to build 88 DD cards. Unfortunately, I'll be like everyone else looking for a workaround with oops. CB at S, S at CB, DE at DT, DT at DE, MLB to OLB, T at backup TE at WR. It sucks to have to try to do that but everyone is going to for a comp advantage and all i want to do is earn snowflakes for presents

was gonna do 2 on O 2 on D but I may do all 4 on offence... defence is not great as it is, may be more OP to just stack your O as they're gonna have 2 guys max to cover them

unsure if this time it'll be like that... we'll see tomorrow. Last time it was a OVR squad. this time its OVR players... so well see if OOP count as 89+ or the actual OVR they are

Already had most of these in binder, adjusting team captains to lower ovr and running 3 89+ on D and 1 on O
