well if thats the case Ji'ayir is getting replaced. was already looking into it because I wanted to pick up Orakpo Combine but couldn't because I had Phillips DT, Bo ROLB, and Ji'ayir with the x factors

More often than not they will sub them out right before the x factor happens and/or will just wait it out with rpo's

Nope it still lights up right off the rip, lol.

If they sub them out then they will have sub par players in for a play and even atp a lot of people won’t notice until later in the game not everybody is sweaty enough to do that

making a 4 ap trade for 2 plays of no Bo is poor judgment.

This is the kind of cap that EA pulls at this stage of the game, which is why I basically drop Madden as soon as MLB The Show comes out. I haven't really played much Madden since that day a couple of weeks ago. I hate that stuff - changing things under people's noses.....EA made OP abilities then couldn't figure out how to offset them strategically so they just nuked them

Is this real?  I know the in-game descriptions of these abilities changed somewhat recently, but i believe that was simply a visual glitch.  My X-factors were still starting ON and remaining active the entire game as of last evening, thinking specifically Sapp, Ji`Ayir Brown, big George, etc.

Thank you for confirming, i suspected (or hoped) the community maybe is just confused.  All of my LIU tokens/players were still active as of last evening)... but i need a reason to move on from this bad game, this would certainly tip the scales, removing something we paid money for.

Is this post based the description of the Light Up X Factors because I have 2 light up X factors in my lineup and they were activated all game as of last night.

This post is incorrect, or OP seems to be confused.  He's not wrong, in-game the message on these X-factor abilities now read "Charge up X plays SIM/COMP" or something to that effect, but it's working exactly the same as it always has, unless something has changed since i went to bed.  Will try to confirm this evening, but i suspect it's the same as it's always been.

Would be cool to update the forum thread to reflect this knowledge, or once someone is able to finally confirm for us.  I believe it to be the same.

LIU x-factors are working for me for 96 SB Mahomes, 96 SB Karlaftis. The one user that's saying they've experienced it not working is using 99 Mahomes, so I don't know if EA just somehow messed up that card.

But I am pretty sure the text for "charge up for ..." has always been the same, because someone initially mentioned it on Twitch or this forum over the weekend, but LIU was still working then.

Thanks for commenting with specifics.  I turned my 99 Mahomes MVP into Training the other week, as i was hunting eggy-weggs, so cannot test that one, personally... guess we dodged a bullet here.  I would be busting out the pitchforks if EA stripped us of the $60 LIU tokens we all paid for a while back, oof.

I was panicking when I first read the beginning, but by the end I feel much better. Since I use both of my light up tokens on defensive players, this should not affect me. Whew! So far I have been surviving with the superbowl chem players and just a few non SB players.
