Linebackers; pursuit vs PRC

Assume you aren’t usering your team. Which stat matters more for recognizing and stopping a run play?  
Like choosing between Hendricks and Lynch at SUBLB. One has 94 pursuit, 90 PRC and the other has 93 PRC, 90 pursuit.

Which one do you trust more? Is there a balance that works best? Like 92/92?

You only need the 90 threshold for all non-physical stats. 90 is the same as 99 for both PRC and PUR

Yep. 90+ is all you need. The only reason cards get outdated is because of EA affected sliders and physical attributes

Don’t think that’s true because I find 95PRC and up players are much better than 95and below

It's been tested. The most likely thing is your players with 95+ PRC meet more thresholds, have better traits, and are more recent cards as well.

All non physical ratings work on a threshold basis. I believe the order is thresholds at 75, 80, and 90 ovr. This means these sets of ratings is the same: 75-79, 80-89, 90-99. This means that a player with 90 ZCV is going to play significantly better in zone coverage than a player with 89 ZCV, however a player with 99 ZCV will not play any better in zone coverage than a player with 90 ZCV.  

Physical attributes do not work this way, however, and you will see a difference with a +1 overall speed, acc, thp upgrade. 

However EA has been known to adjust sliders on old cards to make them not play as well as the shiny new cards, even if they may be the same overall.

So, to answer the question of the original post, both ratings combinations are the same and you need to make your choice based off of a different factor than PRC and PUR as long as both are above 90.

Probably because EA doesn’t advertise it. If they did people wouldn’t chase the shiny new cards all the time, which would mean that EA doesn’t make as much money off of cash packs

So you’re implying that I  only use strategy items to boost player weaknesses?

Like say I have a +4 Run and Pass block power item. 
I look for an AGILE guard, one who already has all the 90 finesse threshholds. And I use the item to boost his power so that he has 90s across the board instead of just agile skills. Something like that?
