I hope you get to complete it - I really like Okereke fully upgraded - he’s better than the 92 Paul TD but not as good as Urlacher - except he’s free - lol

they banned me on ps4 back in the day for making too much coin on the market 😒

I worked the auction house too good this year. I figured I was banned for playing the game within the game
MUT is gated again. Best version of Madden so far, but EA keeps messing it up when they do releases. Time to kick some programmers in the backside for not testing code before it is released.

holy cow, thats impressive lol... ea fired you
I do love how everyone who spends a fair amount of time working the AH sees access restricted and immediately says ahh hell here we go again.

Sadly, anyone with almost literally any amount of experience working the auction house / markets have been faced with random bot-bans, often through no fault of our own. The coin resellers still run rampant, paying off basically every streamer that checks their email. Which then takes months to work through the various EA channels to attempt to have anyone look on this, let alone get those bans overturned. I've already got a spare account prepared for that eventuality. The existing system seems to do very little to prevent coin sellers and more often than not decimates a ton of time, money and effort from us regular guys, who are ultimately made to suffer.
I got a total of three separate incidents / bans on my account from last year (M24 cycle). First was some type of weird "warning" still don't really know or understand what happened, I just see an infraction on my account history. October 2023 was one of the first actual bans, followed by the Team Diamond incident, from right around this time last year -- i was banned for the third (and final) time during M24 cycle for selling various 83 OVR Dak Prescott type TD set pieces, which were in ridiculously high demand. Post normal Core Elite cards for ~150-200k and they'd sell almost instantly. Crazy times, but EA doesn't account for any type of market fluctuations. No questions asked, just insta-ban.
This is an objectively not-good game, at this point EA would be doing me a MASSIVE favor if they banned my account. Of course i'd be upset, but nothing shy of a full-blown intervention can save me at this point. Sitting here, waiting with baited breath, hoping to hear some news or leaks from ongoing negotiations surrounding the last year (opt-in?) for the exclusive NFL licensing agreement between the league and EA Orlando / Tiburon.

I feel the pain and have been there. Both as deservedly so and as unduly sanctioned. Perhaps I shouldn’t have made light of it but these days when something like this happens and that thought happens am I banned again? I usually shrug my shoulders. For two reasons first, as you pointed out with your statement about alternate accounts, I’ve learned to protect myself and the following thought being maybe it would be a good thing if they banned me again. I skip past denial and skip straight on to acceptance because EA customer service policy is denial and ignorance. So there is no other choice but to accept and move on.
As I sit here typing this in the early morning hours while taking a break from clearing out binder trash I realize just how right you are and how deep in the loop I am. Send Help! Nevermind, you’re right I should check to see if there’s some news on that contract.

We're hopeless, helpless MUT junkies, my friend. No one is coming to save us. I'm curious if it's even feasible to get banned from AH this year, the ridiculously tight Min/Max price ranges that EA's economists have set are pathetic.
I love the idea of eliminating scalpers, but that's kind of where I tend to live. I just don't have it in me to sit around and build team playbook sets for ~4k coins or whatever virtual wr0k some of these guys are into.
I'm not above having a spreadsheet here or there to inform myself, but I'll be damned if I'm churning out P&L statements for my Madden activities. Not here trying to get an advanced MUT Economics degree, but I'm also trying to fund this addiction without constantly having to explain to my wife why we need a thousand dollars worth of virtual playing cards yet again this season.
My beloved 49ers are terrible, this is all I've got left now, taking out my frustrations on the virtual gridiron. Was hoping Santa would bring us a PS5 Pro for Xmas, but despite M25 being listed on the "enhanced" games, I'm not sure there's even a 120Hz mode. 🤬

If only good thing about the price caps is that they have helped reduce these bans from happening, since you can only profit so much on cards.

the price cap is terrible for a lot of reasons, but i do appreciate the security of knowing i cant get banned for sniping, and also helped me spend less time on the auction house and delete the companion app since flipping became less profitable.
