I have never played MUT from day 1, so not really sure what to expect or anticipate.  I promised my wife i wouldn't dump a bunch of cash into my squad and feels kind of silly to spend big, or at all, week1 (if ever) -- but seems a ton of folks just love to rip packs and are willing to pay for that privilege.  Anyhoo, that gambling / P2W stuff is besides the point, do most folks try to stack coins out of the gate?  Assuming we're NMS -- or limited to ~4600(ish) Madden bucks from Deluxe pre-order bonuses?

I believe i've done everything i am able to prepare; maxed S5, completed all 33 sets... figured i'd at least use Aidan for the first few days (15-18th) and then if he's not as great as i'm expecting, perhaps dump him on the AH by day 3.  What do you guys with vast array of MUT experience recommend as far as starting tips for a fairly new (started in Dec) MUT player?  Have i missed anything else, or what should i expect on August 15th?

Will servers even be stable, heh?  I guess i'm trying to understand what to expect from the OVR ratings as they continue to be released.  I assumed i'd have basically an entire squad of RPs to start the year off.  I recognize these probably won't be the best of the best, but competitive (for online H2H play)?  I sure hope so.

Not sure if there's been anything confirmed about them being upgradeable. I would lean towards RPs not being upgraded though. Just seems like something they would have mentioned if it was the case. But again I don't know if RPs being upgradeable has been confirmed one way or the other.

The servers will always be a problem. you can definitely count on that. this is the first time they've ever done RP like this. So alot of people will have a decent team. as far as loading up on packs ..theirs going to be insane amont of people that want that SS Kam Chancellor or something else .so they'll rip packs and pray fo that specia player . EA SPORTS knows how to get kids to play into their Ponzi scheme. and it's damn ridiculous

Thanks for the great post -- i must have missed any news or info about Kam SS day 1 drop.  I don't even really understand the differences between "Elite" etc.  I do get that Golds are the standard cards, heh.  I've gotta circle back and learn the basics.  It was pretty overwhelming to drop into Madden in December, that whole xmas present stuff was pretty good to me from what i recall.  It took until Easter before i started to get comfortable, at which point i managed to catch the egg promo pack glitch, for a fast and furious ~25 minutes, or so -- that ultimately set me up for the rest of the year, i've never wanted for another card since.

I guess i probably should NOT take Tuesday, August 15th off from wr0k.  I'll be so furious if i waste my day off only to have servers lock me out due to terrible performance, but i fully expected that, even with limited release window.  I have yet to see em pull off a simple update without bunches of issues, so i'm not super optimistic about their chances in the coming weeks.  Glad the patch appears to be finalized.

Honestly that's fine for me, the best way to spend your mut points has been those 5 dollar new promo packs.

That's all I bought last year after being NMS for the previous 4. Keeps you disciplined if you're just like "oh 5 bucks a month aint bad"

I mentioned this in another thread.  If I am sitting on 32 rps at 84 and hutch, then get the season pass players and solo reward players ,   who is buying packs?, I know I am not

The rps will go into a set for a higher overall rp.

So 32 84s for madden 24 and the 87 aidan. What else is there to do to transfer from madden 23 to madden 24??
