Madden 25 Hout Routes

Did I really see where they don't have a Zig route now unless you have HRM?? I mean they did an awesome thing with CFB25 Hot Routes, why the heck wouldn't they take a similar approach for Madden?  It only makes sense any way that a QB can call multiple routes.

Yep... extremely stupid. The zig was a great route to be able to get on the field easy

That stuff REALLY sucks, no more Wheel routes for HB or Zig routes for basically anyone.  But we get a Post AND Slant -- which feels redundant now that we'll be getting custom stems.  A Slant with an extended stem would be identical to a Post, or what am i missing here?

Massive oversight / fuckup, IMO.

HRM should not even be an ability imo. Not having it makes cards that would normally be fun and good irrelevant. Same with things like LA and PA. Man, so many of these abilities shouldn’t need to be abilities…

They already destroying the game

I think we need to know what the defensive Meta of before reaching the conclusion that removal of the zig route was a bad move. If the defensive meta is once again zone, the removal of the zig route will not be very impactful. However if the defensive Meta ends up being Man-based, then the removal of the zig route will have negative consequences.
