I'd sacrifice the 4k for a more mobile option to play. I'd say that will be your best option, unless they make it on the Switch to play and that's more feasible. But I'd rather stick to the xbox myself.
If you want to play madden, you could hook the box up to something and you could play on your phone or computer using Xbox remote play.
I use remote play while traveling. You can sync the controller to your phone using Bluetooth. It works for solos but not really for H2H. The cons are it’s really laggy and the phone screen is super small vs TV.

I have a solid wifi hotspot & a mobile battery thats the size of a bluetooth speaker I use that combo for my tablet to play warzone mobile with a PS4 remote using the bluetooth
thats my current little “mobile setup to game on the go“
I’m usually getting driven around in my vehicle for 1-4 hour commutes on the weekends so its plenty of time to complete challenges/run solo‘s or even play H2H so the remote play doesn’t sound like a bad idea 🚀

Most likely going the xbox route
looking ti get a series S with a gaming travel case or small laptop bag to fit my cables & stuff
connect that to the tv for the head rest i’ll order off amazon & just connect to my wifi hotspot box & keep my mobile battery in the a back for when I dont have the vehicle running or if i’m gunna take it out of the vehicle with me both tv & console use the standard plug in to power them so they’ll fit in my 4 plug battery easily 🍾
Get a G Story and a Series S if you want a bigger screen. I have one for travel. They have a bag for it and everything. I am in hotels a lot, and it's great for travel. Just know that once you the put G Story on it, it's on for good. You can't take it on and off.
You can also get a backbone and use remote play. That works great too. But you need a decent internet connection (hotel is usually fine) and of course the screen is smaller.
I've been on PC for a couple years now. This year I'm going to try it on the Asus ROG Ally, we'll see how it goes.
Can confirm M25 definitely works on the ROG Ally. I did put all visual settings to their lowest settings though.

I imagine Steam could be put on it but yeah it definitely is Windows. I downloaded the EA app on it.
