Are you guys running man or zone , and what do you thinks is better? Tryna decide what to run
I have run both and honestly right now I don't feel like either one is good. Man coverage is sketchy if you don't have great speed IMHO, but I will run Man if I am sending a 4-5 man blitz, that seems to be more functional over zone in those situations, but I am honestly not sure.
And Zone Match plays don't feel very good either, I have had players leave a Zone and leave a player in their Zone wide open when they are on match and not because someone else came through their zone to trigger it, because they will just randomly run off into space where no one is and leave a guy wide open in the middle of the field
Cover 3 match seams to be the most dependable play IMO so far, you just have be aware of the route combo's that torch match coverage and how to adjust. IMO i would recommend using match 75% of the time and a solid man blitz the other 25%.
Defense overall is a crapshoot this year, but the statement above seams to be the most reliable thing IMO. For context I also have an 81 ovr defense, so this can function with an NMS line up as well.
