My best guess is people sold off their teams to buy presents, and buying back set players has caused a huge raise in prices. I’m a bit bummed that some guys I want are expensive now, but hopefully they’ll go down a bit in the next few days

People seemingly did not open presents due to the glitches.* (most people).

Its uncertain whether those who opened (I only opened half - had XL presents and did not get to the 93+TOTW or a Harvest master so we shall see when I finish) got what they actually had. 
 

I personally sold everything I opened with the market up.

I’m banking on it.

If it happens, it’ll be when:

most people open what’s left of their presents (probably after EA announcement of glitches fixed) OR

if make rights go out (unlikely)
