Maybe it has something to do with the splitting of the AH inventory. Or the increase number of addicts that value every single coin in their stack.
Combine that with the ability for every MUT player to have real time access to pricing, and you get the current market.
The current TP value shows you the market is real close to the same pace as LY.

This is the reason HB prices went up.
Lots of people sold their higher values cards right before AM and the OVR increase. Since there was no 91 OVR HB dropped lots of people had to hurry up and buy a 90 OVR HB again.
I myself am not one that believes in this EA controls the AH conspiracy theory. It’s been a few years since I played MUT, but I had played many years prior to that. When I last played there wasn’t mutGG. Everyone has access to what the market value is and can see recent sales. Heck now it even shows you in game what the prices of the last 5 sells were when you go to auction a card. Even a casual who just goes straight to auctioning an item should know it’s value. With all this information available to us it shouldn’t be surprising that cards are more bunched together price wise.
Only thing I question is why are there random sales of high level cards (90/91) for 8345, back to back to back to back to back.

This happens to a different card once a day at least.
Not just RBs either. I've been eyeing a couple cards that didn't get quite low enough for me to pull the trigger (I'm very picky with how much I'll spend on a card), and they've all jumped like 100k in price when All Madden came out. Gets tiresome, I'll tell you that.
Also, yeah I see the low prices 4-5 times in a row for some high value cards and every time I click on a card it's already sold. I don't wanna call shenanigans, but as NMS I look for stuff like that, and last year I was pretty good at sniping. This year I've been successful one time I think, and it was on a mid-level card. Maybe they built some kind of a delay into the app or something, I don't know.
It's pretty obvious when a card is dumped with multiple at same price of say 8,888. When actually value of card is 700,000
All within a short time period.
First if it was 80,000 maybe they forgot a zero. No one forgets two zeros multiple times.
Second oh they are a noob don't know value yeah it says right on auction tab what going rate is no one is that stupid to do it not once but 3 or 4 times.
You can always see those outliers especially on ltd cards and it's pretty obvious when ea does a dump to try to balance market they want.
No, everyday there are numerous sales for a 90/91 card for less than 10,000 coin.

right ? bro is so good at "working the auction house" nah just good at wasting your time tbh... profitable moves are super capped now, before when it was a free market margins weren't always capped... also do you notice how there's always LTD cards for sale ? when it was a real market those things actually eventually ran out and you couldn't find a single card for sale... bro is probably quadruple vaxxed vegan who is afraid of global warming
when it was a free market LTD cards always worked as investments, just economics 101 - supply and demand, eventually that supply dries out, you could stack LTDs and make millions, now LTDs aren't even good investments, another obvious example, you make barely any coin from buying LTD's when they are in packs and selling later.... it's controlled by them...
it's good for buying, I got Dave Robinson for 550K, but at this point in the game his value should be higher just doesn't make sense...
EA runs the AH and purposely does it to make coins scarce, when I last played MUT you could actually grind and make good coin, that's dead, they make coins scarce on purpose and jump you for buying coins funneling you harder into buying points and spending... it's pretty obvious... not sure how people can't see it...
can you still make coins? yes but the margins are never that high and it's way harder overall... and if you are wasting your life doing it, you should re-assess... anyways you should re-assess in general if you're a minor wasting too much time on games... learn a valuable skill that will make you bread first then come play games later as a hobby (MUT is my version of golf) losers thinking they are awesome because they make coins in a game wasting their lives away kind of triggers me... losing hard in life so you find something that's meaningless to be good at and let your ego feel all nice...
you will likely be a loser / have no future if you don't put games away for actual years and grind learning a skill that gets you paid... yeah I played as a minor, then I stopped gaming all together for a total of 7-8 years to grind and become something... people are dumb...
i mean it's not surprising EA has a eye of this stuff. EA has been dropping the same card position every drop in almost every program along with the GMM guy's personal favorites (always see a falcon every program.) nothing of this surprises me one bit.
