Match Cheating

So I got a ban from EA today and it says its for this. I had a quick look online to see what it was and it talks about the use of "aimbots and wallhacks". I have never heard of them before and have obviously raised a dispute with EA but I just wondered if any of you guys had any advice or experience of this sort of thing. I'm not after any info about the ban really as it's obviously a mistake - one look at my H2H record should tell them that but what are aimbots and wallhacks, why would someone want to use them to win a pretend game of football and what can someone receiving a ban from EA realistically expect to happen?

I don't think aimbots or wallhacks are particularly relevant to madden. It was probably a pretty generic article for cheating in other EA games like apex or battlefield. In any sort of shooter an aimbot refers to a program that practically locks the cheater's aim onto their enemies. Meanwhile, wallhacks typically allow cheaters to see through walls that they wouldn't be able to see through otherwise. This can be a huge problem as it allows cheaters to have information about a players location that they shouldn't be able to have.

I have seen a lot of posts about a ban wave going out overnight.  A lot of people were incorrectly banned. Your best option is to open a ticket with EA help, but I don't know how long it could take for you to regain access to online play.

The rumor going around is that it’s tied to lineup subs for the Waller event. I didn’t do the event, i Have too many golds cos theme team and I figured the comp would be more similar to MCS (my most important games) in all madden seasons. All that said I honestly don’t know why you might have gotten banned but open a help ticket

Never even looked at the Waller event tbh. but interesting to hear what aimbots and wallhacks are. Shows you what I know although it's obvious now you mention it, thanks.

Seems its all over Twitter too. Yet another EA mess. Those guys just can't get out of their own way.

Probably a mistake on EA's part and then they will compensate the banned people with free 88s and the people that weren't banned will be mad for not getting banned. What a cycle

Man, I could care less about free cards. I play in a CFM with 31 other people. Most have been in it 5+ years. It's Week 2 from this Friday, Week 3 next Monday and I'm banned. I'll miss setting up my scouts which means this year's draft will be a crapshoot and my side will take a hit. It is going to drive me nuts for the rest of the year. A free 88 is not going to help any.

I've been playing a load of MUT to practice calling plays, seeing what works, getting a feel for the gameplay etc. We play with a load of adjusted sliders to make it more realistic but I figured it couldn't hurt as the CFM didn't start until this week.

What makes it worse is that we moved from PS4 to PS5 and I dropped out last year but bought a PS5 specifically for the CFM. I literally play no other games.

I promise you there won’t be any makerights for this at all. For the people that got banned if they get unbanned they should be thankful enough cause ea and especially eahelp is horrible.  if it doesn’t have to do with money you won’t get a makeright
