Matchup Nightmare?! (broken?)

Yesterday i tried it on OBJ in the Slot... And this ability lights up on every play... it doesnt matter if covered by a Linebacker, CB or Safety... Is this broken? never tried in H2H, but works great for Solo Battles...

Does it actually give better catching though? Like do you see a noticeable difference when using it?

From what I have seen, it does, obj is like a magnet!!!  I do also have mid in on him too though.

I’m on PS4 and Matchup Nightmare has worked like that all through MUT22 and MUT23.

There have been debates/questions regarding if it’s actually working or just lighting up. I have used it on a few different players, currently have it on Gronk and it 100% helps him make tough catches in traffic and I’ve also had it award him automatic catch win animations. Yes this is in H2H as I rarely play anything else.

A couple days ago I threw a pass to Gronk in the end zone and the DB got in front of the ball (perfect position for INT), I user input possession catch and the ball literally went through the DB, Gronk lit up and caught it for a TD.

Shshhhhhhhhhhh…

I put it on Adam Theilen with his free slotomatic And he has been the best WR I’ve used all year. Weird catch animations all over the field. Sometimes I Throw the worst pass and am thinking for sure pick and he comes down with the ball somehow.
