yeah watching it was baffling to me... absolutely worst part of my game is deep pass plays, never get the blocking, never have time and not good enough at reading coverages, eye opener when the thing you suck at and do the least is all they do
Yeah I'm going about this all wrong setting up all these underneath routes apparently. I saw what you're talking about...3-5 routes every play were at least medium to medium deep, stuff like corners and posts and fades/streaks. Though it does make sense that when you get to that level you basically stay greedy because you can find a way to make anything work because that lines up with other multiplayer games I've ever played and witnessed what progamers do.

It was interesting how they were using motion and changing plays frequently, seemingly in response to what they saw from the defense (and vice versa, since the defense has to change things up when the offense does) - I was inspired by this to start heaving it deep and forgetting the stuff I was doing before. So far I'm at least breaking even on TDs/INTs haha, and it's in champs because I need the comp pass objectives for it. Probably gonna start getting rekt doing this.
MCS finals vs. the everyday champs H2H are two different games, especially post patch.
When playing the avg Joe, there is low risk to reward for sending everything at out you constantly, which can force you to take check downs a lot more.
They both knew that if the blitz does not get home now, coverage breaks down quickly, so they were both rushing only 4 most of the snaps, allowing the deep routes time to get open.
Different games. It's harder to bomb vs worse players because they dont touch their coverage shells often enough. TJ was able to nuke Jon twice because he was swapping his half on the far side of the field and making it a third. Not possible vs avg joe, but yeah, sling the rock.
gotta love 30 yard + crossers and corners.
