EA said something along the lines of something that happened that did not follow their code of conduct. That is all that was confirmed by EA.
I mean honestly it’s messed up. It’s not anyone’s fault that the guy got DQ ‘d but the people who actually guess it right are going to be punished? That’s just not right. It’s not like this is a raffle or dealing with real money. This is digital currency that you guys created, so why would you cancel that for the people that got it correct? It’s already hard enough to do that with not enough information on all the MCS players.

So imagine this from the flip side of things: You picked AI-Nash before the news of a DQ ever happened. He was, at the times the rumor of a DQ started spreading, the favorite to win the night. Why should I punish all the people who picked a guy who didn't get to participate?
I am sorry for everyone who picked Abram to win. As I said I try to avoid refunding predictors as much as I can because I hate to do it, but in this spot it was the most fair option I had for everyone involved. Plus, now you get your GG points to use for other predictors, like all the great events we have going on tonight and will have going on this weekend with NFL/NBA action.
The reason smh I think dq ppl get refunded and ppl who guessed it right should get rewarded there were 4 choices 3/4 got to play right? So because it affected 25% you are gonna just call the whole thing off? Like if a team in football is dq’d they get the L plain and simple. Or fantasy football your guy tears his acl first play of the game they don’t cancel the week that’s completely backwards. Be mad at the player not the game. That’s why there a literal saying “hate the player not the game”But it’s your event, and I appreciate it. Just would throw my 2 cents in. 🤷♂️

Unfortunately that's not how our system works. You either refund the whole event or pay out the whole event. There is no cutting it in portions to pay it out. We have done this before with NFL games where if we list a player in a predictor and that player does not play due to injury or personal reasons, then we refund the event. That is our protocol on that.
