Menu Lag Old Gen- PLEASE EA HELP, AND I WILL SPEND MORE $$$$ ON YOUR GAME!

It is lol. If I hadn't spent money in MUT since i've bought it, I would have gave in and switched to new gen after like the 3rd day of watching paint dry with the menus. I can't validate to myself buying a new gen console when the teams don't switch over after spending money.

I have to use my phone and distract myself while I play through the lag just so I don´t lose my mind.  It took almost 2 1/2 hours to set my Niners TT. Just selling and buying cards. Nothing else.

Odds are they throttle the menus so you fools pay more money to save time.

not a peep from ea in 8 days now about the issue. missed out on unstoppable and now probably will miss out on one of the best promos, most feared. still not working after mf dropped today. guess i better start seeking how to get a refund.

What's hilarious is on the actual EA website MUT forums, a user posted their menu lag issue and their EA representative replied with a generic problem solving reply (whats your issue, email, etc) like they're not aware of the overwhelming issue on old gen. LOL what a slap in the face especially when there's a thread below it with over 100 responses from users with the same problem and not one EA person responded. Just come out with an universal response of "we're aware of the problem, we're working on it" instead of that crap lol.

NOT 1 person from EA, across all social platforms, has yet to respond to us. WHY???? Acknowledge your Old gen customers. All of us bought a game in which we (falsy) assumed we'd be able to play until July. You dropped a bomb on us not being able to use the Companion App. Aside from actual gameplay every other part of MUT is nearly unplayable. It's a slap in the face and you just don't care. It's October 12th for crying out loud. I'm going to go punch pillows to release the anger EA is directly responsible for

Now, if this is an erroneous quote, my apologies ... but I could've sworn that prior to the game launch, there was at least a mention that while the game would be released on both generations, the older generation would not receive the same level of content/support of new gen. 

Personal opinion that I know people who stuck with old gen would disagree with, but if you've invested enough money into old gen Madden that you feel that you have to play due to financial investment/commitment ... maybe that money should've gone into getting a more up-to-date console.

If you did make the switch, now would be the time to do it since Season 2 just dropped and MF is out. Idk what your team looks like or how many coins you have but if you have a weak team or barely any coins, i would definitely consider switching dude. If you're in position to do so ofc

Idk if there was a mention but as usual, old consoles never get the same attention that new consoles get. I thought most people knew that there is a big chance that EA pretty much stops giving a shit about old console Madden but i guess not

They did say that progress from Old Gen doesn't carry over this year back in early August. It's why I switched and hopefully this is the last year Old Gen gets a new Madden to cut down on issues.

Yes it is well known that gameplay will not be touched on old gen to focus on new gen (as they should).  I still don’t think it’s unreasonable for people who paid for old gen to expect it to at least be playable which it currently is not.

  I believe OP stated that they prefer to stay on old gen because they literally don’t play any other games and choose to spend their money on packs rather then a new console. I have a series x but mostly play old gen with My buddies because they prefer the gameplay more. 

 I get what you mean by the benefits of upgrading their console but everyone has different situations and the old gen users deserve the ability to play  a game that they paid for.
