Might be done, or at least greatly cutting back

I don't even worry about the rewards and am gonna stop with solo battles and all that grindy annoying BS. I get what I get and having the latest cards is a lot more inconsequential than the whales like to admit anyways. I even ran an experiment and picked up budget beasts like 81 Malik Willis, 83 Duvernay, 81 Tycen as my user, etc, basically just dropping my OVR, keeping speed, sacrificing accuracy, route running, coverage stats etc. I started a season on MVP difficulty doing this.

The first thing that happened was recovering a fumble on the opening kickoff, scoring asap, then picking off my opponent twice and scoring again each time with insane jumps by none other than 79 Keyshon Nixon and sick catches and RACs by 83 Duvernay. I also noticed how much faster 86 Foster (I did put in the freebies I would logically use) played, and 81 Malik Willis moved way faster than 88 Vick ever did. Accuracy wasn't an issue any more than any other QB. Only a couple of missed throws due to pressure.

Predictably, I started losing when the game started performing bad as usual, since it's obviously difficult to tackle, lurk, throw/catch when the game randomly decides to not even respond to your input or do so very poorly. Ultimately ended up 3-3 against God squads, largely because opponents would break off big plays I would normally stop, and prevent plays I normally would make due to severe input delay. I started off 3-0 very convincingly (21-0, 14-0, 21-7; last result was the opponent quitting early third quarter, by far the longest anyone in the first 3 games stayed) before the performance issues started. I have top of the line hardware but unfortunately this is on the PC version which might have been a mistake on my part. It's not optimized for PC at all.

So seriously, why? Why bother with any of this crap? The cards don't matter anywhere near as much as the whales like to think with their sunk cost fallacy. The game doesn't even run right half the time, randomly lags and performs terribly out of nowhere, and this largely is the determining factor of outcomes of my games more than anything else, or at least raises the what if questions. Of course sometimes I simply get outplayed and have no problem admitting that; there are some pretty awesome players out there and everyone runs into being overmatched sometimes. Whatever.

I'm in the same boat. Speed is the best stat in this game and  if your player can get there, they will make a play. And hopefully you stick around, you're one of the better posters on the site and i enjoy reading your posts about the game. Just sucks that this game is very deflating sometimes and cards don't really matter as much as they should.

I gotta admit, it was a lot of fun beating the absolute crap out of god squads with those cards. Then it all plummeted asap when the game just ran poorly as hell for me. And there doesn't seem to be anything I can do about it. Restarting the app, the PC etc yields mixed results like pretty much anything else I can try. I wish the game ran better because when it does, it's fun as hell to do these things. Next year I...MIGHT get the PS5 or xbox version.

Yea. I'm on ps5 but every once in a while, idk, it's like you feel some resistance and the game just either responds late or not at all, it's not just pc or old gen. Then you have games where it's as smooth as can be, like you're playing a solo. Nothing worse than playing online and you have all kinds of delays and lag

I figured as much but the thing is it's only 10% of the time that I get it as smooth as a solo or offline game. If even that often. Best I can get is about 80%, and that's still roughly 2 out of 5 games.

And that's how you know the online is fucked in this game. Solos and offline stuff has no input delay or lag at all while online has all kinds of weird shit going on.

The funny thing is, I actually noticed that the issue is much worse with my fellow PC users...by far.

No of course not...if I had a money printer I wouldn't get off my ass either. It's pretty simple; it's always about the money. There's no money made in fixing issues. But there is money to be made in selling packs.

That's why i hope EA loses the license so we can get back to actual gameplay. Everything about MUT is money, it's really sickening after awhile.

The sad thing about that is how much sooner this should have already happened. Know why? Oh, you do? I'll tell you anyway. Wait who are you talking to? Oops hearing voices again.

Nah seriously though, my understanding is the NFL licenses exclusively with EA because they do not want their likeness and image represented as childish or arcade like; rather they want it conveyed as a legit realistic simulation...and I think we all stand pretty close to the same relative area on how well executed that one is...

Lmao NFL is out of the loop then. This game is more arcade than ever

the biggest issue with the game is people, they become addicted to the sh*t and act all crazy, if you just load the game up don't even spend no money and play then your good, it's up to you to spend etc to get the best players all that, I literally have 6 million coins right now and won't even use the top player because I don't like them. 

it's the people that get on youtube and get 1 offensive play and 1 defensive play and then talk sh*t everytime they get a win like they did something....... it's people way more'so than the game itself...... the game is just adapting to peoples actions, and accomodating what people ask for want as far as feeding the addiction to play/open packs. 

if nobody bought packs the whole game would be different, but they do, so it's not. think about it, is that EA's fault? not really

I've been saying for years that nothing is going to change if people keep walleting out. Whales are not helping any of this at all. I'm NMS for the record, beyond the $70 entry fee. As I stated above, if I had a money printer I wouldn't get off my ass either. I can speak on behalf of lazy people out there, as a certifiably lazy person myself; if people were spending money on my product(s)I would not change much if anything. I might even tell myself, or legitimately believe, that there isn't a problem to be changed in the first place, or else why would it make me money? Why would people keep spending on it? The CEO or whoever is/are in charge, they may occasionally get complaints about how the game is run, but it's easily guaranteed that "this release made us a lot more money, this one was a flop; let's do something more like the former" will be much louder. It's pretty understandable that the noise of profit margins being made might minimize the volume of complaints with gameplay and/or technical issues. And it seems to me people are not voting with their wallets at all.
