Angry Runs on every position, KO on every position, RPO cheese, stretch run Vanguard cheese, abilities literally dominate this game there's no way to be competitive unless you do these things. Its insane and frustrating. I hope abilities never come back

Couldn’t agree more man. In no way shape or form is this broken game even remotely close to real football.
Need secure tackle / supreme in literally almost every position
Some would argue that the unique ability driven cheese at the end of the year is the most fun
Just play regs. Better balance over there.
Same Abilities are in the madden 25 beta sorry to say.

It feels like madden 24.5 tbh. Same crap. If the wr gets slightly touched its a drop.maybe they change it in final but its practically the same atm.
I mean, it's mid June...
Agree abilities killed this game off long before other Maddens fade out. I'd say by late February
People will look me dead in the eyes and say, "Well, EA has to go insane with the Abilities because we're in June and it keeps the game interesting." No one likes all of the Ability garbage outside of shitters who constantly have EA cheat for them either through DDA or Abilities.
I'll keep saying it until it's understood by the masses, but we don't have to accept this nonsense. The Madden players at-large should've been spending the last few years harassing EA to fix these issues and those who want to ruin the game for others. Things like this will never change unless there are consequences for people's actions (or inaction).

The lack of legit counter to the Vanguard madness is the most annoying, by far, to me. At least for Angry Runs and such, there are plentiful options to combat that stuff. Defenders don't touch my field anymore unless/until they get Secure Tackler or Tackle Supreme. Thankfully we've got SO much AP available now, if i have to pay 2AP for Secure Tackler, i'm prioritizing that.
Reinforcement is decent, at least gives us a fighting chance in run defense, but that Vanguard stuff is absolutely dominant. Game-breakingly so. I was ready to throw in the towel myself at the end of S6, but took a ~week long break after completing both field passes and tried to simply walk away. Between S7 and the hype for Madden 25 beta Playtest, well... i got suckered back in.
This past weekend was the most fun I had in a hot minute, perhaps all the nefarious Vanguard players were busy with M25 phase 1 beta, i dunno. But played a fair bit of MUT Champs and wasn't miserable. Some close games, a couple/few of which went the full distance. That alone is a rare and beautiful thing to get to play a complete game. I think I'm 13-3 at the moment, choked on my very first game after the long (week) break, was totally a winnable game and then dropped another close one last evening, 25-22, my opponent kicked a FG as time expired to seal his win.
Have you faced much of the Bottleneck / Man Press meta yet?

Good day
I can truly relate to your response and the upsetting part is these cards are all end game cards supposedly yet have the same result maybe even worse than say January or February . Very disappointing

I usually just quit if someone runs Vanguard stretch and has man coverage set up. It isn't worth my peace of mind at this point. The fucking trophy packs aren't even worth grinding for

Agreed on vanguard being the most frustrating part about this game. Most plays can be stopped with secure tackler on your user, but it doesn’t matter when my user is on his ass every play.
I haven’t played in 2 weeks and i’m scared to see what online play is now that they added another vanguard offensive lineman.
