What are everybody's thoughts on the Rookie Premiere programme at the end of MUT 23?

EA Sports advertised the programme as a way to get, "a head start", in the Team Building process on MUT 24, so I spent real money for the first time ever on 2,800 Madden Points to enable me to get 24 of the 32 Players, and build myself a Starting Lineup for MUT 24, I then paid extra money for the Deluxe Edition to get 3 Days Early Access.

If Rookie Premiere Players had been on the Game at launch, I would have considered both to have been good, worthwhile investments, but EA Sports held back our Rookie Premiere Players until such time as other programmes within MUT 24 had rendered them obsolete. So much for the head start they promised us. We were conned. Thoughts.

I still haven't received anything yet and I totally agree, I did the same put time and monies a good few hundred including the game which never do as I thought this is better than last year I can get almost a whole team. I got 20 something too. but as it has almost been a week like you said they are useless .. instead of spreading my coin on a few top players I had to spread it around and compromise, so I have a team of 80-84 instead of 84-87. I tried to contact them on their site but it just kept taking me to the EAHelp just a list of other EA issues. Next year ill just wait for it to go to game pass. Very Dissapoint, an actual shambles.

Honestly, ask for a refund. There’s nothing else we can do. Just keep playing 23. Basically the same game.

The game had a worldwide launch on Thursday at 8pm eastern. First RPs started rolling out early Friday afternoon. Maybe hold your horses on a class action lawsuit.

Also, as someone who faced a number of all RP teams on seasons today I can promise you those cards aren’t obsolete, it was like running into a buzzsaw

It’s frustrating they didn’t come out at launch for early access, but it’s not that deep. They definitely are not obsolete. I only got 9 done, but I’m strict with my TT so I quick sold them all for training and kept Stroud and Gibbs. Stroud is alright but Gibbs is an absolute animal! Just gonna use Stroud until a good Lions qb hits.

That the game doesn’t function as it supposed to. You could even copy paste from EA’s website the list of problems they’ve had and use those.

The two big problems I have with the RP program are that they waited to give them out and changed the positions of some important players without giving an alternative. That's not what they promised from M23 at all. Changing two important positions without giving alternate positions on the cards should be enough reason to request a refund, to be honest. I now have 3 out of 5 O-Line instead of 4, because they switched the one LT to a RT, now I have 2 RTs. EA, what am I going to do with 2 84 RTs? I have 2 OLBs and no DE. I can move one of LBs to an end position, but that changes their OVR, same with the RTs. This is pretty ridiculous and a little more than mildly upsetting. As a lot of you have already stated above, I too invested more money than I normally do into M23 to get a good chunk of RPs plus the deluxe edition, and to have EA go and do this? I'm already past the ability to request a refund, due to the amount of days that have past since the early release, otherwise I would absolutely request a refund. This is absurd. EA fix this or risk losing future paying customers.
