How do I invite a friend to play challenges with me in this year's game? It will not allow me or him to send an invite and says we need to be friends and we have been friends on the console since it released. Any help would be appreciated
Bump
So we have tried everything and it will not let us play challenges, squads, or play a friend.
I've looked online for info on this and can't find anything on it.
I've tried to do the create Co-op lobby and on my end and his it says . "This player doesn't meet the requirements to join your current game mode. "
So any information on this really would be appreciated. Sorry for the bump thread.

I haven't really tinkered with any of this stuff myself, definitely not during M25 cycle (yet), however... i'm not familiar with many methods to actually use and play our MUT teams together, at least not beyond the basic Squads online play. I assume that works, as regular part of the H2H, but it's going to be a competitive game mode. It's kind of bullshit that we cannot use our MUT squads to play really anything else that MUT has to offer. Perhaps i'm missing something.
You should be able to join the H2H squads play, choose Offense/defense, etc and then lock in your team. Invite your buddy, do the same, then queue up for a game. I am not familiar with anything Co-op or whatever. If that exists, first i'm hearing of it. It would be VERY cool, i've been dying to get my son to join me for some MUT cooperative gameplay.

Will not let us run Squads in the h2h department either. Can't play the play a friend either. It shows him in my friend list but says does not meet the requirements. Same with me on his end and it makes no sense to us.
We played challenges together on last year madden no problem but this new one will not let us play any mode together which is our only time we normally hang out.
Thanks for the reply.

Are you both on the same console (PS5/Xbox?) and have you both been added as not only Micro$oft or Sony friends, but also as actual EA friends? I believe you typically would want to press in the R3 button (on PS5) -- the right analogue stick, in order to bring up your EA specific menus.
Seems liek you are doing everything else the same as i would. I'll try to check later this evening to see what else i might be missing, sorry vaguely pulling things from my spotty recollection.
Yeah ps5 friends since it released and ea friends as well. WE both turned on the cross play to see if that was effecting us but nothing has worked which just sucks.
Everything you have said still very helpful and I appreciate the time and effort with all the feed back you have provided. Thank you.
