Blitz had just started.  Market was crashing so team diamond set pieces plummeted.  I was able to buy 95% of the cards for super cheap but in an effort to finish all 32 sets I had to pay a premium for about 5% of the cards (rare core golds).

So anyways I get down to just needing to finish Vikings and I get an email saying I was involved in coin distribution.  I was AH banned and coin wiped.  Went from 12 million coins to 0.  I contacted EA help to dispute my case and basically said “if I’m a coin distributer I must be really bad at it because I buy bundles”.

I quit madden.  Then randomly one day in early-mid January I log on just to see what cards came out for zero chill and all of my coins were back and a day later (after 0 communication and them keeping my case pending for almost 2 full months) I get an email saying they were sorry I didn’t  actually coin distribute.  I won’t buy packs again and have learned my lesson on that front but it was a crazy experience.  There is literally no way whatsoever to just speak to a human and plead your case no matter how clearly wrong EA was.  Super frustrating

My full story is up above but cliffnotes is I bought about a dozen gold cards for 10k-50k each because they were the last cards I needed for the team diamonds sets.  It was during the first nights of blitz so even spending 50k on a gold the market had crashed so low it was still lucrative to do the sets.  I’d do the sets for like 175k then sell the cards for 250k which would fund the next card I’d make.
