NCAA/Madden 25

I wanted to see how you guys planned on balancing 2 football games next year. With both modes having an ultimate team I know it’ll be a handful grinding out 2 rosters. 

Are you guys getting one, both, none? I might start with NCAA and jump over to madden whenever the game title gets its first price cut.

As the ncaa drop approaches im divided.I definitely wont be getting both because of the UT you spoke of.Im retired so i actually have time but doubt i would use it building 2 competitive teams.Im waiting to here how the game plays once it does drop and then make my decison...

only reason i played madden is because there was no ncaa lol madden is not worth my time anymore. only reward money spenders smh rewards were hot trash all year, pack odds a scam, gameplay bailout xmen avengers super hero boo boo

I'm for sure picking up CFB. I know I'll enjoy dynasty mode for a good while. I'll probably give UT a shot in CFB as well and assuming I like it that will probably be my football UT for the year. I might pick up madden 25 at a later date just to compare the the gameplay between the two.

Going to try and grind both to see which one comes out on top. Would love to see Golden Tickets in College Football!

I was planning on buying CFB until it came out that it was not going to be releasing on PC. Huge bummer, but I'm not buying a whole ass console for just one game. So Madden 25 it is

I was briefly tempted by the combo deal, but there's no way i have time to keep up with even regular MUT, let alone CUT, as well.  No real desire to play college fatball, I didn't exactly go to a D1 school, so i have no real allegiances there.  Although i do think that college football looks to be the superior of the two games, simply because it's not forced to support last generation of consoles.

That being said, i'm really trying to talk myself OUT of playing M25.  Abilities are the cause of and solution to all of Madden's problems.  When i first started playing after an extremely long break from Madden, i just thought i was terrible at the game (which i was/am), however it took me a month or two before i realized how truly vital abilities are.  The game wasn't that hard, i just didn't have a velocity ability on my QB, so of course the ball just floated out there liek a wounded duck and was constantly picked off.

I'm sure i'll have a weak moment, or won't be able to resist and will scoop a ~$35 Black Friday sale with MUT, but i'm already sick of paying hundreds if not thousand+ dollars for the privilege to bang my head against this buggy ass shit.  Starting early should have at least granted me the ability to build up a huge coin stack for the entire year, but it's difficult as EA hates when us gamers profit.

Hope everyone enjoys this stuff.  What's up with the "new" playbook art?  Both NCAA and M25 appear to be some MS Paint caliber designs.  Is it just me, or is that stuff somehow considered an update/upgrade?

I feel you. CFB has so many ways to enjoy the game that UT might be an after thought.

Yup. I’m trying to steer clear of MUT25 as well but I know as soon as Lamar Jackson has a good week I’ll want to go pick up his latest card lol. That play art is terrible tho  Hopefully the graphics team was burnt out making a great product by the time they got to playbooks  

NCAA stopped making games around the time I started college so I feel obligated to take my school to the promised land.

I think most people are gonna play regs and online dynasty for cfm, and mut for madden. I know there is a really large fan base of ncaa that are super excited to play college football but haven't ever played mut. I also think at a certain point mut and cut will be too similar to be able to justify the amount of time it would take to grind both

And NCAA won't be the same? Same trash company. Gameplay will be identical. Unless you're into CPU games it'll still be trash

Won't touch Madden again until abilities and xfactors are history.

Kind of wild to me that so many people are expecting this brand new / different football experience, despite the obvious similarities.  Prior to having seen any specifics, i basically just assumed it'd be a reskinned version of Madden, using the same outdated Frostbite (3?) game engine.  Has to be kids in a certain age group that grew up with fond memories of NCAA 14, or whatever the last prior versions were.  EA is gonna prey on that nostalgia.  The gaming realm has changed a whole heck of a lot in the past decade+ but i certainly hope that the Dynasty mode or whatever else will captivate everyone's attention.

Hard pass for me.  Already sick of donating cash to EA.  Been waiting years to play Jedi: Survivor, thankfully EA paid me off for testing M25, so i'll have plenty of shit to occupy my limited game time.
