it shows on screen that I have 2/3 X-Factors used, but when I try to add my 3rd one, it says the I am exceeding the limit of the number of x-factors. It won't let me use it. This is for offense and defense.
It is an annoying glitch that happens ever so often.
I have found a work around.
I take a picture (using my phone) of my offense, defense or both (whichever lineup is glitched).
Then, I remove all players from the lineup.
Exit to MUT menu screen.
Then, enter MUT and replace my lineup using my phone pics as reference.
Lastly, activate your X factors (you should have the option for 3 now).
That usually does the trick for me.
Hope this helps.
I think you either removed someone with an active X factor or refunded/removed the X factor on the card without deactivating them from your list. If removed then add them back in and activate then deactivate. If you refunded then remove them completely from your lineup and see if you can activate the new one. You could also try and deactivate all eligible cards with X factors then activate and deactivate the ones that weren't active and see if that clears it.
If you're going to do what Ogjohnnyguapo is suggesting you could save some steps by just creating a new empty lineup in the change lineup section (top right under generate best lineup). You can use your old lineup for reference if you forget who you had where.
This usually happens when you remove someone from your lineup who is activated & you didnt activate them.
the fix is just creating a new lineup
All you have to do is remove the player that you had the X Factor on from the lineup
including any specialist spots he was on then put him back in and then you should be
able to activate the new guys X Factor.
It happens alot to me ever since last season.
