Never Seen so Many God Squads in H2H

I seldom waste my time in WL or H2H but last week after completing solos and getting bored with solo battles I dove into H2H Thursday-Sunday. In past years WL attracted all the hard core obsessives with their 98-99 god squads and H2H during that period was more reasonable. But man not this week, literally 90% of my opponents had GT's all over the place and 98-99 god squads. It was insane.

Did EA make it that easy to put together such squads that everyone has one now? Or is all that is left the hard core players?

Yes and yes.

Its the end of the year so everyone is spending whatever they have left and most GT arent that expensive.

yea a 98-99 team is pretty easy to build at this point. Coins are flowing more easily and even now high 80’s cards can be had for like 2k lol

Half your 99 team can be made from free players the game gives you. All you gotta do is round out about 5-6 99’s on your own and you’re good.

free 99’s- Brady, Mays, chancellor, Youngblood, Castilla…….etc

VERY easy to make a god-squad now with the prices, I am shocked when I go into a game and the top three players aren’t all 99s lol

Yep. With all the free players and the fact that you can get a lot of 98-99s and GTs for not unreasonable prices makes it really easy. I have a 98 Overall team, completely NMS, and I don’t do much flipping, sniping, or hardcore grinding. I don’t play the game that much, but it’s not that hard to achieve

Yeah, almost everyone has made a god squad now. It’s late in the year and all the GTs and almost all the ULs are out. Even easier now that there are 2 free GTs from challenges.

Spot on. 2 years ago when the Golden Tickets were more rare, no TVPs, and you loaded into a game, you actually got hyped or raised a few eye brows at the sight of a GT in the Top 3 to start the game. These the last 2 years have been watered down with 7-8+ on everyone’s’ teams.

He’s talking about the 99 Tom Brady and Ed Too Tall Jones you get from doing the Fan Appreciation challenges.

They start as base 94’s then you get tokens at I believe 60/120/180 stars respectively to upgrade them up to a 99 overall with Golden Ticket card art.
