New cards - EA kinda spoiled them with the SB/Playoff/Ghost chems

So I see these new cards coming out, wildcards, Genki, Honors, etc...but even though by themselves they look good, if you have full chem Sb, playoff, or ghosts (I have 70 SB and 50 playoff), your cards are going to be better unless some of these get insane abilities...

But the SB cards got insane abilities as well...

Look at Honors Anderson...there's absolutely no better pass rushers in the game than Sapp, Reggie, and Karlaftis with their X factors/abilities. Including Will Anderson...As for  Pitts, He's not better than Heath with vanguard or Casper with 70/70 SB boosts...as for DK....I'll take Plax, MVS, Deebo with 70/70 SB boosts and Megatron with 50/60 playoff boosts....

It's really too bad that EA ruined these. 

Unless...they give some sort of equivalent chem or motivator boosts...we will see soon

Agreed 100%. They really messed up with theme teams this year because they wanted people to spend money so bad so they made the chems really good. A 70/70 superbowl team is pretty much end game

Agreed. My 70 Super Bowl / 55 Playoff team still clears by a long shot. The 97 Pitts today isn't even as good as the free 94 Pitts with super bowl chems. I'll add the RT today, but that's it.

I'm with you....LOL....been using Runyan because IMO he was the best RT since there are none that good with SB or playoff chem...but I will add Havenstein

You really want every promo to outdo every previous promo every time? MUT 24 is already an expensive money grab exclusively catering to whales, these filler promos are there to buffer the weeks in between paying off your credit card bills to PS or Xbox for madden points.

exactly I've had 50 ghosts and then another promo theme team since Christmas, right now its 50 ghosts and 50 SB, and don't see a reason to change except once we start to see double 0ap abilities.

It's funny this year because EA started ovr lower to lengthen the game but gave us 99 speed earlier than last year with all the promo teams and strat cards they've handed out throughout the year.

I just think people want something to play for. Every team you see is a superbowl theme team or mixed with superbowl theme team, kinda ruins the game. You have 96 and 97s coming out that people aren't even looking at. The honors cards are boring, this new promo sucks, wildcards have some nice cards but why replace chemmed out superbowl cards with worse cards?   

I have a feeling that EA has plans for cards that come with multiple 0 ap abilities and prelit x factors. It's the only way people will move on from superbowl. Unless the next big promo has a different chemistry

I have a 50/70 SB TT with none of the LTDs, and with the 2 extra speed on my WRs I am cooking DBs and my players seem so much better, I mean 95 MVS with 98 speed is sometimes blowing past deep cover 2 safeties, I feel like the promo TTs are just stupid because of how good they are, I hope they get rid of them or maybe nerf them like only be +1 or +2 speed, I mean early game Promo TT aren't that bad but we already have 99 speed players at 95 ovr, if this pace keeps up just imagine how OP late game 99s are gonna be

If you want the speed nerfed for these cards then drop your team down to 25/70.

Totally agree. One thing worth noting is the low ACC on a lot of the SB players though. I think that will eventually nudge people to whatever the next good TT is.

What’s the speed boost at 70/70? Is it +4? I’ve got 60-60 playoff and get +3.
