I see that Sapp is a 96 OVR at RE and LE. The thing is I have Bruce Smith and Mario Williams so I'm not sure what to do when it comes to that.

That sounds like a damn good setup. I switch between 1 and 2 DT’s as well.

I saw that about Sapp, he’s just kinda slow to put on the edge but it’s worth trying when I get him.

I agree. It’d be great to see an update on the AP cap soon, maybe at the start of season 3. HRM is essential for me at the QB spot. The way I run my offense, Corners, Texas routes, posts, etc. are necessary to make the plays I use elite, especially to beat man . Just in the past few months, I’ve become pretty good at setting up combos and figuring out the best stuff to use and I have been beating man coverage and blitz’s almost all the time.

I’m rocking with Simmons and Chris Jones right now. I have inside stuff on both of them and no outsiders on my rush ends. I had Sapp for a bit, but Simmons gets the job done just as well and saves me 350k. Both DTs stuff the run constantly and still get nice pressure on the QB.

I just wish that O-line abilities like edge protector and secure protector didn’t make d-line rush abilities literally useless. Seems somewhat unbalanced considering how many receivers get discounted short in elite and the handful of QBs that get HRM for dirt cheap. And not to mention every lineman coming out gets secure protector for 1 AP.  I honestly think it needs a bit of rebalancing, but I’m just salty.

All-in-all, I’d say Simmons is and excellent budget option, Chris Jones is going to be a steal when he drops around 400k like the rest of the ZC champ, and Sapp is worth it if you have coin to splurge.

Thanks for the feedback man! Hoping to try out Sapp this week since I run Legends TT. Otherwise Chris Jones seems like another viable option.

It is but the only problem is I'm always switching up things ability wise since we're very limited this year at times with abilities as there is only 12 AP to spend on both sides of the ball. (I don't think we'll see as many AP increases as last year since we're moving into an era this year where everything is 2 AP and under and pretty soon it might be 1 AP or 0 AP everything)

Sam is great he just does’t get discounted abilities. If he could get inside stuff for 1AP I think everyone would be using him.

If you run Double or Nothing and Edge Threats they get wild on 3rd and 4 th down you will love it
