Yes, they got me this year with the All-Madden version. I am considering cutting my losses and moving on if it doesn’t change soon. The more that we play, they will continue to do the same thing as the engagement numbers won’t go down.
I would be okay with changes to Solo battles this week if there was more content, but it seems that they are using solo battles to replace regular content from last year and the current reward structure of solo battles isn’t worth my time.

I agree with the toxic social aspect.
But honestly, just avoid it and concentrate on the things you enjoy.
I play offline myself. Every time I try online modes it‘s just way to overpowered for my nms squad and -to be fair- I‘m not that skilled in h2h, coming from Europe with limited knowledge of the tiny little bits of coverage reading and so on.
But hey, every now and then I get a win in house rules. Not spending money (except for the all-madden edition) and focussing on the good parts of the game.

Havent played HUT or FUT in a long time and maybe its changed but they were only playing online/with a friend and buying packs. They are realistically moving more towards this model as well with MUT.
The regular season of the NFL hasnt even started yet. I am sure we will get some. We already heard theres a few things coming this/next week. You can always put the game down for a few weeks and come back and then repeat so you have content to play without powering through it all. EA doesnt look at these forums (or any forums for that matter) youre better off going and spouting on twitter about it.

Yeah cutting more solo battles/making it a daily game is more grinding. Id be curious to see month over month numbers of players.
We havent started regular season yet and they are already ramping up programs it seems from the thread slammer did, so its coming, theyre just pacing it.
I liked only having to get on monday/Wed/Sat to grind and getting stuff done that way. I already play Destiny and Fortnite with friends so having a game a day that I can rotate through is nice. Ill probably take a break from the game here if things dont improve and try it around Halloween to see if they do anything else. It sucks but I think its just that time.

The "random" BND 89 All-Madden player is a bit of a disappointment. Was hoping for at least a "fantasy pack" of 3 choices since you can't sell it. Luck of the draw it is, I guess...

Agree, particularly with the first part. It's not hard to make a point without resorting to unnecessary name calling.
No need for any moral superiority on any side, especially when how any other individual chooses to play the game should be of no concern to them.

Yes, I am hoping that it does pick up as the season starts and this is an overreaction :), but it seems slower this year to start, along with all of the bugs and lack of communication, I am concerned that it will stay this way.
Here’s to hoping that EA does the right thing, and this wasn’t a waste of money/time.
I thought I saw some screenshots somewhere showing that they actually lowered the requirements per week (win 5 games at legendary), which I hope is correct and the current issue is just causing them to not show up. I guess we will see once it is back up.
