What is the main difference or pro/con of upgrading from power-up vs. Upgrading from the top highest card? Because aside from a ton more training/coin cost and other positions/ teams, I don't see a difference. (Just returned to mut a couple months ago.) Thanks in advance.
Fully powered up players have chems for all teams they played for, secondary position chem, and +1 all ratings over their highest ovr card.
Aside from the +1 to all stats and OVR, Power-ups allow you to change team chems and if it’s a lower card, it can get a training bypass to get a step lower OVR than the highest card. EA also often makes cards to where they require the power-up +1 stats in order to hit thresholds for abilities. Also a very minor pro for power ups is that you can change card art options to be any card art for that player that is from a card that is an equal or lower OVR than the power up is leveled up to
