I really like this pb and am surprised its not talked about more often as one of the top playbooks. It has singleback, 11 pistol forms and 16 gun forms. The only knock I have on it is that it doesn't have any i-forms. It does have a couole strong pistol forms and 1 or 2 weak pistol forms. The passing plays are great. It seems like it has everything when it comes to passing and even some option plays and has a huge amount of plays in the playbook it seems. Also has a 4wr formation. What are the benefits of running pistol and the negatives? I look at it as another gun formation in a way. I would guess that running the ball would be one of the weaknesses cause where the QB is handing the ball off farther behind the Los.
The “knock” on this PB I have read is…you can’t use it in H2H. So I have avoided it as I don’t wanna practice with something I can’t use when I dive into the deep end.
I use it in h2h fine
I use it in H2H also.
I love this playbook. It’s a shame it’s not in any of the databases, because if other people could see the formations they’d get on board.
And grim reefer- some of the pistol formations have what I consider the best run play in the game: strong power. Ace, ace slot, and bunch te as well as others (I think) have it. BYOB - Bring Your Own Blockers!

This is my favorite pb I have ever used in madden. I cant believe how good it is. Also I just realized I can use the goal line formation if I want to pound the ball on the ground making it even better. Love this pb!

Another really good one for inside the 5 yard line is singleback ace double wing. Big boys left and right!
Also using this playbook. \<3
Stopped using the pats pb after they deleted plays and formations from it.
(Hearing thats a common problem for a lot of team pb's)
Also a pro to using pistol -
3 wide sets if they are in man and you run...granted they dont have "on the ball" on their db's (improved reaction to runoffs) its $.
Run a stretch to the side with the wideouts and watch the db's run 10-15 yards upfield while you mosey on through. Very satisfying
