NMS Theme Team

I want to do a theme team but don’t have that many coins. I am a no money spent player. Any suggestions for theme teams or how to make coins would be appreciated.

My recommendation would be to decide on a Team that you want to build, and buy every single Power Up that you need. Build up training through NCAT that you don’t need (if you won’t use them), and upgrade players that you need/want

Thanks for the help! I might do a broncos theme team. I think the Josh Allen set is a way to get training for cheap.

Alot of sets can be done for profit with these inflated prices of 89s especially.

avoid the niners ,,i know those cards usually cost more  ...buy Ltds if possible cheap...250k resale....maybe do a team with most useful cheap cards that you like..

Grind like crazy. You either invest $$$ or time.

1. Play all solo challenges. Use punt safe glitch on defense and chew clock on offense to finish them faster.

2. Play solo battles on max difficulty. Punt safe glitch will come in handy again. If you're able to make the top-100 then follow the guide - it was somewhere on this site. Otherwise just chew clock. 11 games out of 13 should be enough for Legend tier.

3. Not sure about House Rules. They used to be great but now they look pretty lame.

4. SSKO rewards are trash, but it's still free training, and you can complete the objectives fast if you play against a friend (choose PAF mode in SSKO settings).

5. Weekend League not worth the time if you can't make the top-100 - H2H seasons would be more profitable.

6. Try not to miss any promos. Zero Chill program, for one, was fire. It brought me lots of free cards: 92 RT Sewell, 93 RG Teller, 94 TE Woods, 92 FS Thornhill, 93 CB Sneed, 93 RE Ingram, 94 CB Fenton, 95 WR Hester. 

7. Watch Good Morning Madden and MCS on Twitch for drops. Well, not exactly "watch" - just turn the broadcast on and do something more interesting.

8. Amazon Prime gives 94 Polamalu and 92 FS Megatron (upgradable with 3005 training to 93) for free. Subscribe for their 7-day trial, claim those cards and cancel the subscription.

9. Daily objectives can bring you some coins too. Although, the rewards are nowhere near as great as they used to be. EA gets stingier every year. I remember, 25k was like a minimum reward, and now it feels like a jackpot.

10. GAP packs might be profitable since everyone needs 75-79 cards for the team diamond sets.

One suggestion that makes building theme teams cheaper is look into the Master Sets in each big promo where you get a few NCATs back for completing the set. Look for a team that gets a lot of those NCAT cards back because you'll be able to create the master set and then sell the master card on the auction house and keep the NCAT cards you get with the set for relatively cheap.

Avoid teams that will lose you value over time. Right now isn’t the best time start building a TT with the inflated market. My suggestion is watch the market for a week or so and then decide. Arizona, Cleveland and Pittsburfh seem to have the highest profit margin in my experience with resell value. Avoid unnecessarily expensive teams like Vegas, Philly, Dallas (Cowboys Tax), and Carolina. Do some research in the theme team tab and see who will give you the best bang for your coin by charting out prices of your targeted players. Pretty easy to do with excel.

Dude that really isn’t true I have A saints TT and I haven’t spent a dime and really not that much time

I would go with your favorite team or favorite players team and pick that way. 
 

The power-up suggestion is great. 
 

You can get a pretty good TT for just about all the teams just by playing at this point.

With that said the final four or possibly final eight teams may get bonus Chem’s in the next round of the playoff Cards. The two Super Bowl teams will almost definitely get 6-8 new cards too.

Time is relevant to each of us. My son started at the beginning of the year. Maybe 12-hours played but completed the Legends full free card, the playoff freebies and several of the Bo Knows. 
 

Decent Ravens team for not much time into it, NMS. Not top tier but getting there.

What's not true? I never mentioned any specific amount of time, so what "not that much time" are we talking about?

You don't play any solos, no H2H seasons?
