No defense abilities stop working in Champions mode when you get on a win streak

Won my first 5 in champions mode yesterday

I have Inside Stuff on Both DTs and No outsiders on both Ends, in order to stop the run, so I can have my user focus on pass coverage

Then have pick Artist on all my DBs

I got on a win streak by letting my CPU defenders stop then run, then getting user lurk ints

But on my 6th and 7th games (both losses to mediocre teams), I couldnt stop the run

MSC Johathan Taylor and an offensive line with no abilites ran all over my one game, to the point I have to run commit

Then another game, my DBs with Pick Arist, then ball would go right through them.  Like on a corner route, I'd notice the route, switch to my DB, user catch in front the of the pass, but the ball would go right through me

However, in my first 5 games that I won, these were always user interceptions for me

I've seen my inside stuff not activate in one on one blocks. So either its inconsistent or deliberately turned off.

Ea dda at its finest. But keep throwing tons of cash at this game thinking it’s gonna help you in the long term. And I say you in generalities

It does state “better chance”. Nothing in there about guarantees. Temper your expectation

Let me run up the middle with an RPO inside hand off, every time I will have a DLineman crash right thru. Better Chance is more like 99% of the time.

My guess is you annihilate the sprint button upon handoff. Otherwise it’s been borderline proven rpo run plays negate IS. That’s why ppl run rpo runs as much as they do. In squads you cannot play as an o lineman on rpo plays. On any other run concept you can. Therein lies the coding of effectiveness

Plus you can double 1 IS and run away from the other. This is all day 1 stuff from YEARS ago.
