tell me how you do it please , this is the first year i'm trying to limit myself on spending and trying to enjoy the game , but i'm struggling having a hard time beating even solos with my crappie team , any suggestions or help ?
Spend a little bit of money…
Or wait for the first big glitch of the year and hope your online to take advantage before it’s patched.
Gotta wait for solos and then do those and solo battle requirements to get coins and level up for packs.
The best nms would be those that work the market. Can't advise on that sadly.
Tbh just play, I’m NMS with the standard preorder and got a 80 ovr team. Just work on leveling up your passes
Play all solos when they come out and try to level up your field passes asap. Flip cards on the auction block in between games to build up coins.
Not enough content to enjoy NMS yet. Give it a week, do your solos and eventually youll get some traction. It’s hard the first few weeks.

So if you want to enjoy the game with zero dollar spent then hopefully this helps you out.
Play solos and challenges. Don't worry about getting all the stars on the challenges at first just get your free stuff available to you. Get all of your daily's done so you get coins and your Strat Card don't sell wait and put in the sets to upgrade the Strat item as last year they have a higher quick sell value and some can auction at a higher price.
Look for good deals on Platinum cards that quick sell if on sells for 6k and you can get if for 6500-7K then use it as a cheap rental your out maybe a thousand coins or so but you can quick sell it later to get the 6k back. Use a calculator to know the 10% value so you don't over pay or under sale cards but watch the market as it could go up or down depending on the player.
LTD's are your best friends if you save your coins and can get one for 370-425K then you have a good rental for at least a month out but be sure to get on around the late part of the first day to second day of release and once the card has left the card pack pulls then you could have a card that goes up in price which if the case then sell to gain more coins. Just watch the card price chart on this site.
Twitch drops if you have time to setup just let the vids play and remind yourself to collect the packs if you have time for it.
Don't open your free card packs as soon as you get them. Hold off and wait for new release content I personally have saved many packs and as of now I have 20 free packs in my binder to open but I am going to wait for maybe another week before I open them. Chance are not great but with more packs you can get better pulls so I wll open a few when the next LTD cards are out and hope for the best but if not that's okay. It still is best to be patient when doing NMS.
Sets used to be worth doing but if you don't get BND players back for doing sets then for me personally I will not be doing any unless I know for sure I can make coins back.
Notebook players you buy if you do want to try sets for coins. know the purchase price of each card and the price of the main player that's being auctioned to figure your cost and the 10% auction house otherwise you could set yourself up to lose a lot of coins with nothing in return to show for.
Play HR but don't worry so much about winning with a cheap team at first focus on the stats and at least getting a field goal if possible. Earn some of the free items it gives you but don't stress over it. Put some music on and just chill and ignore users that want to talk crap to get under your skin. Use HR to learn some new plays that can make your gameplay experience better.
Hope some of this helps you out and you can just enjoy the game and have fun. It's a game at the end of the day so just have fun.
Don't go after New and Shiny even if you get something that's crazy good take your coins because in a month or less that card and player has lost it's shine and the value has diminished completely. Stack your Coins and your Free Packs.
Madden 23 I spent zero dollars except for the game and at years end I had a 99 overall team. I at first preordered the game this year and then got a refund. I just picked up the game used at my local game store for 35 bucks because it had no case cover which no big deal to me since it's playable and well my team is no god squad by any means right now. lol
It is tough to go NMS. My main account is on my XBox One, my second NMS on my XBox S. By delaying the RP drop it is very difficult for an NMS team to get through the solos. At least for me.

Have you tried playing solo's on the rookie level? As far as I know, the Battle Score doesn't mean anything right now unless you just have a hard on for being on the Top 100. This should even the playing field for entry level lineups so you can still accumulate the counting stats for the various field pass objectives.
True NMS players buy the game in October when MUT is on sale, training is readily available, & certain thresholds are hit. Unless you plan on doing some serious auction house construction buying the game at launch is a no no. All EA is doing this time of year is ringing people dry of money.
