No +1, no training and all we get are discounted abilities which are nice but I much prefer the old system. I've heard alot of people say this is the worst legend drop to start the year and I have to agree. I'm not bothered by the actual players but not getting a +1 and only getting discounted abilities just doesn't seem worth the high price tag. Also wish there was alot more solos to do and my win 20 solo battle games on MVP or higher still is reset after having 10 completed on legend. I hope this isn't s sign of things to come. I actually miss power ups cause it seems like there's not much to do with training. The rerolls aren't worth it and are only worth doing if there's a LTD and we didn't get a LTD today for some reason. Just disappointed in the new pu legend system.

you do tho, its bs, i wanted deacon jones just with charger chem, but no, i either power up all the way, or just spend 700 k on a le just to get the chem. so 1.1 mill vs 700 k just for chemistry
This year in general has been a L.....def a rough start
Let's see if EA actually listens to the fanbase on this one and makes appropriate changes as a result. You never know, anything's possible.
The new PUP system is awful at the moment. Not a fan at all. If they added in +1s it would be worth it. Speed would need to be a +1. Right now it is not. The Lester Hayes is the only one that is kinda worth it (if it did not cost millions) but 3 for Acrobat is still a lot when you can use ko’s for 2. I think the only positions that will be worth a skill decrease will be QBs and maybe a cheap lurker and Edge. Depends how cheap. But even on QB what will be the necessary non affordable skill as Gunslinger is different this year and Escape Artist is changed. Maybe a cheap Hot Route.
Yeah it's really weird that EA took this route for power ups. Maybe they bring out regular power ups and this is only how the legends will be but still it's terrible. If they keep this system then only a few players in every team will be powered up cause we only have 12ap to use,it's top expensive and most players can do without certain abilities or just pay the extra 1ap or in other words its just not worth it except for maybe a few players with abilities you may like. Still dumbfounded by this decision and can't believe they went this route.

Yeah I agree with this. At first I was happy it was only legends and then now you dont get +1s but discount AP. I get why theyre doing it like that but that is some dumb coin sink to put in for some 89s. And you are def right about QBs/Users probably being the only ones worth it.
They def need to let you pick the team chem at base card like normal elites or even making it a 81 or whatever. I was so excited to use the bus because Conner and Najee were 82/83 and this would be a big buff but without spending a ton of money, hes sitting 3rd string. And was hoping Vrabel would have been able because Watt is still dumb high but again, cant unless you get the 89.
Whats changed about GS now? I know EA got changed to an Xfactor.
This system is a waste. I won't be powering up a single card this year under this perverse system.
EA did this set up for one reason...
Money. People will buy more bundles just to upgrade their favorite legend players for reduced ap which in my opinion is not that great of a discount.
The market on these cards will stay up and possibly continue to rise. Especially when later down the road another legend is put out to go into the set which will increase the market value even more.
Just my opinion.

GS only speeds up Passing motion this year. I don’t think it increases velocity anymore. So just the Animation.

So these 89 legends we have to power them up to get other team chems that they played for? If so then that's a huge L 😆..we can choose any 80+ elite cards chem but not legends. SMDH
