So whats the deal with Randal's pup??? should I sell to get coin to go towards the 98 or just try and keep the pup and get him to 99.

Sell it...the 98 is great.  The PU will come back down and you can buy it latter if you want Gold 99 vs Blue 99 (not sure how to get it to Blue, but my bet is there is a way).

Id say sell it cause you can sell the pup for 200k and cunningham 98 is 370k so if save 170 than you can buy the 98 and powerhim up later when it goes back down.(think marcus allen, he was 150k plus and now he is 4700
