Has anyone gotten use out Oline abilities this year? Is it worth putting them on IOL? Like tough nut, fool me onc, etc.

Im gonna say no to "tough nut". Had 3 im my OLINE on Roaf and someone else. Had Roaf at RG and ended up putting an actual RG and not RT there, even though Roaf gets the ability. Useless to me. Most of this stuff seems useless on the OL. Madden has a DL timer and also, the score of the game and field position also decides sheds.
For example, if it is 7-0 and youre winning, as soon as you hit about the 30 yard line of your opposition you will notice less time to pass and sheds.
Believe it is coded into the game to try to keep the score close.

aint no way 😭 makes so much sense now… EA keeping games competitive by limiting sheds but keeping mike/mid blitz meta since ‘20. I love how these guys give rats the advantage 😐
Need something to help stop some of these META blitzes you see every single H2H game.

Well, I'm speaking an organic rush. The pass rush timer is 3 seconds usually.

Plenty of youtube videos out there. My issues with blitzes come from lagging. For the most part anyways. My QB is slow to throw, or I can't set up everything pre-snap because the inputs don't go through fast enough. You guys are lucky you have a good connection.

I shouldn't need to watch youtube videos. Heavy set runs should gash most of these blitzes but don't always do. Also having two runningbacks in the backfield should be able to pick up the blocks but that's not always the case. the user on mid blitz dumbs the offensive line then bails outs to cover the post or crosser.

Mid blitz is block rb, slide toward RB, id Mike lb as the further edge on the RB side.
Agreed, RB should be smart enough to pick up blitz with no ID Mike stuff.

I always slide my o line and block the RB but never ID the mike. I didn't think that was necessary but I will start. Thanks.
Game should make you get PUNISHED for doing unnatural formations and personnel. Just my opinion.
Shouldn't give both excellent pass coverage and run stops/gap discipline with everyone blitzing, and make extra DB on the field get blown up by run sets.
Currently guys put 11 in the box and defend flawlessly downfield even when their blitz fails… How Sway?!?!?
Some of the defense I see just doesn’t look anything like real football.
I use them but who know if they actually help

I would say just check out the abilities tier list this site has but they are REALLY bad at keeping it up to date. A site that has been helpful to me in the past is https://www.abilities.fyi/ They actually tell you what the abilities are suppose to grant you in the game and you can even compare abilities to see what one offers over the other.

Gunslinger X factor will solve your “slow pass“ animation.

blockshed timer is always 3 seconds unless you have protected or all day. Tough nut just protects against super wins earlier in games, If all your linemen had it you would notice but the cost is way too high for that right now and there are better abilities
