... it wasn't this bad before but Faalele almost guarantees 3 yards per carry with the fall forward animations.
I don't have the complete answer but I think it almost has to involve GT Ngata with supreme tackler to minimize the weight difference

Bruh I've got a full Ravens Theme Team with 9/9 TT Remix boosts. Every player on the field has Tackle Supreme or Secure Tackler (see below).
RE: Ricard with Tackle Supreme and No Outsiders
DT1: McCall with Tackle Supreme and Inside Stuff
DT2: Cox with Tackle Supreme and Inside Stuff
LE1: Tuipuloto with Tackle Supreme and No Outsiders
ROLB: GT Suggs with Tackle Supreme
LOLB: Van Ness with Secure Tackler and No Outsiders
MLB1: Roquan with Tackle Supreme
MLB2: Queen with Secure Tackler
FS1: Ngata with Tackle Supreme
SS1: Hamilton with Tackle Supreme
CB1: Clark with Secure Tackler
CB2: McAlister with Tackle Supreme
I've tried a ton of different formations and moved players around... yes even with Ngata in the box. I'm going to try 4-4 Split now and see how that does... this will give a 6 man front and maybe there's a gap shoot?

My ”go to” is:
Base 46 playbook
44 Split
Cover 2 Invert
I pinch the line and spread the LB’s, send the weak side MLB to a deep middle third, and user the FS (he‘s in the middle).
This doesn’t work against every look, sometimes these guys just have their run scheme working like a well oiled machine.
*Also 3-4 Bear in the Base 46 playbook actually does pretty good against heavy runners if the 44 Split isn’t getting the job done.

Thanks man. I think I've found a setup out of 34 Odd that does a decent job... it requires some usering but you can get a good hitstick on the FB Dive and for the Power O you can loop around and make a dive tackle in the backfield. Of course if you whiff, then you're giving up some chunk yards lol.

Glad you’re getting it figured out. I know what you mean about if you whiff, these strong run formations pretty much require you to make the tackle with your user and if you miss it’s almost always a big play or TD.
I’m all good with each person playing the game however they want, but it’s VERY hard to understand how someone would want to lineup in goal line all game and run the same two plays.
Yesterday I played somebody running ONLY DB Fire out of Dollar and naturally I went right down the field and scored a TD and XP. His turn on offense and he came out in Gun Tight and ran the same play 4 times (which I completely shutdown) and he rage quit.

LOL...
I played a guy just this morning who kept coming out in Gun Empty Base for three straight drives... so I just kept sending 6 at him and it was either a sack or a pick with my user. And he wasn't trying anything different as far as I could tell... just somehow expecting a different result.
When I face a player like that, I imagine they're just new at the game so they only know a handful of things that maybe they picked up from YouTube or Twitch... and when you shut that down they don't have anything else to turn to.
But the funny thing is that sometimes these guys are in their playoffs or even super bowls and yet EA thinks it's fair to match them with someone more experienced. I really wish EA would give us some damn bonus for winning our opponent's super bowls. The way it is now... if they don't act like a d-bag I often concede and give them the win because... F EA. Let them have their shitty trophy packs.

Man I love seeing Gun Empty Base (feel like it’s been a lot lately) because I send 6 and the 6th is my user blitz straight up the middle for a sack. If they stay in that formation they’re always going for something quick over the middle on the next play, fake the user blitz and it’s an easy INT.
I never understand how those guys are even in the playoffs or Super Bowl when they seem like they just started playing. I normally feel it out, if they are playing a reasonable game of football then I give them the win but if they just wanna run their YouTube cheese on repeat then I’m making them rage quit.
I agree the rewards for H2H seasons are garbage and it is lame that we don‘t get any reward for winning our opponents Super Bowl!

if they run the cheese (i also consder no huddle all the way down the field a form of the fromage)
then they get the ass kicking they deserve.

You can also tell who’s good and whos cheesing- itll be the same formation but you’ll be on tilt the whole time lol rather than spamming 1 play they have 6 they can set up blindfolded
