I’ve see a lot of people have Their problems with madden are these complaints coming from old gen madden users? This years madden is one that I’ve played most and I see some bugs and issues with the game but I personally think this madden on new gen is one of the better madden I’ve played in years Any thoughts?
Each have their strengths and weaknesses - this years biggest issue IMO is the deep blue zones, they cannot cover anything. Each H2H match seems like the clock management that is better wins, deep bombs all over the place with crossers/fade/etc.
honestly I really enjoy this madden, my only complaint is biased bc I play pc but I’m mad that they won’t make PC Next Gen

Definitely Agree the biggest problem I’ve noticed is the crossers always leaving a man open to the side line even when you put coverage there . even when you know what play they will run you can’t cover it and they continue to run the same play the CPU should be able to pick up on it after running the same play multiple times in a row My biggest proboem is the perfect throw across the body to a wide open WR all the ay across the field 59 yards out

I agree I think this is one of my davorite maddens to play content has been pretty solid and the new gen play style is soemthing I’ve learned to love There isn’t nearly as much cheese plays and glitches id say
The deep blues aren't the only issue on next gen. There are constant issues with RPO glitches and the Run Commit Glitch is still working.
Derrick Henry + PA Boot Over will be something you defend around 50% of the time you play on next gen. Very repetitive, for decent reason, because it requires very little thought/planning and the player and the play are extremely OP... Dev team needs to fix this.
Certain abilities activate when the shouldn't (Inside stuff, Deep Out Elite, Matchup Nightmare.. to name a few common ones)
There's no consistency in the way your user player reacts. Example: A user controlled player could make a superman acro catch from 5 yards away when they were clearly beat and had no business making a play... Next drive, the QB could throw multiple passes that almost touch the user controlled player and they won't even attempt to bat them down or catch them no matter what button you press. They 'freeze'. This isn't even accounting for how often this happens with non user AI CPU controlled players...
There's a new animation this season, and it's a 'non animation'. As if the coin flip/dice roll of who wins the catch has already been decided and the devs didn't even bother having the DB animate to show he's trying to respond to your user catch/swat, or the WR will stand there while the DB animates then throw his hands up in the air like he didn't know the ball was coming or something (and again no response to your user catch attempt).
You still can't audible to Onside Kick Return. Very useful function for a quick comeback, but not really fair.
Scum kicking to the FB or KR2 benefits the kick team way more than it ever should. Fumbles happen way too often and returning to the 25 is nearly impossible. Again, very useful for a comeback, but not fair.
Intentional grounding is not called well over 90% of the time.... Very useful for the Henry PA Boot Over players. The more attempts you get at this play the better your chances are of it glitching out the defense.
Why are there Offside Calls? Always a CPU player who lines up offsides, and always come in sweaty close games.... usually come in in bunches of 2-3 per drive.
Why are there still Roughing the QB calls? And why so often against Vick? If this is a thing, injuries should be turned on or there should be a severe fatigue issued to the QB after the penalty.
Sideline throws apparently aren't impacted by Accuracy Ratings. Every QB throws dots to the sideline, one of the hardest throws to complete in real football.
The corner of the end zones are ALWAYS open against zone coverage.
Defense AI will not react to a QB running right next to them, even if the QB is sprinting.. they don't react until the QB passes the LOS, no matter their coverage. And no, clicking your right thumb stick does not consistently solve this one, especially in the red zone.
Other than that, it's exactly what John Madden dreamed of....A simulation football game.
Reason: Made parts easier to understand/read. More clarity, more info.

After putting that into aspect I honestly couldn’t agree more Don’t get me wrong it’s not a perfect game I just played My fair share of new gen and old gen of madden 22 and old gen just seems so glitchy and cheese. But I mean what dI we expect out of a EA game especially madden

Well said !! 100% agree ,,im on ps4 and its constant glitches and bugs in the menus and in game also...EA needs to make a simulation mode that works better, and fix all the darn bugs ..most bug ridden game ever made i think.

I'm on PC too and it's the worst Madden for me. Gameplay wise I'm doing pretty okay - just won a Superbowl earlier this morning. But those pesky freezes ruin everything. Probably you haven't encountered this issue, but many people have. Most often it happens in Solo Battles: the game freezes on the loading screen before the match, so you have to close the app and take the L. Last week I had 3 freezes in SB, this week already 1. And one is enough to miss the good rewards. In MUT 21 I was always in the top-10 in Solo Battles and it was a reliable source of coins, but not anymore. In H2H divisions, thank God, no freezes in 65 games. In WL I had a couple back in September - and I instantly quit the game then. Didn't touched it for months, until a week ago.

Yeah, MUT on Old Gen is like arcade mode. I'll never go back to that.
Next Gen will be good IF they start focusing on the gameplay.
I think everyone would agree that if EA isn't going to be able to keep up with MUT and CFM, then "The Yard" and "Face of Franchise" need to be cut from the title. These modes aren't the reason people are buying this game.
Someone at EA needs to step up and admit that these modes were a failure and encourage them to focus on the actual game.
The gameplay has gotten worse and worse the last few years, and I think it's because they're spread so thin working on the rest of this stuff.
They could put all that time into the gameplay, quicker/better patches, more unique promos, alternate and custom jerseys/skins for MUT teams, etc.... and the community would respond much better with more micro transactions.
We're not hard to please, we just need them to realize what we're buying this game for... instead of them trying to focus on 'new shiny things' they think we'll like....
