Usually the divide is not so obvious, but this year it is huge.  Im an 85 overall, best card is AM Parsons and I'm routinely getting matched up with guys whose top 3 are all set master cards.

Yeah for sure. There’s like a dozen cards that most normal people can’t justify buying at this stage

I have always liked man coverage even when zone was the big thing in Madden. I always go with man press corners. I'm running with PU McAllister, PU Hayes, Sneed, Jalen, and 89 Carlton Davis. My safeties are 90 Micah, Holland, PU Atwater, Lott. 

Played someone yesterday who just kept throwing it up deep downfield to Parham.  I get it,  he's 6'8".... but I had 3 guys there.  I keyed on him....and Parham just kept coming away with it.  I have deep KO, I tried to swat , pick  it, play receiver, play ball ... nothing worked.  What's the point in building a team and scheme if that cheese is going to work?

I highly doubt IRL that Donald Parham is going to go up for a ball 35 yard  downfield against Atwater, Hayes, and a LB like DJ and come away with it every time. John Madden is looking down not very happy with this product

for real dude that's literally all mut champions and h2h is rn, I've gone flawless 4 times in h2h but as soon as I enter the sb there's some kid cheesing with Parham. can't wait till he's irrelevant

I used to be very good at the game. I would win 85% of my games and would play 500+ games a year or so.. But I am older now (hint - my age starts with the number 5), with a family and less time to play so when I do, I play sound football with decent stick skills even though my reflexes and hand-eye are clearly not what they used to be.. Still, I've always been a well above average player and more and more lately, it's the meta and glitch plays that win games. Just watch the MCS tourneys and everyone is running the same junk with the same cards. The guy you played who had Rickey, I bet he tried to run stretch on you....that crap gets bottled up. But if you double the D lineman , with a card with post-up ability, and you have bulldozer on Rickey, then you're going to be successful (unless your opponent run commits and when that happens, you go play action and just destroy the coverage).

What I am saying is that it doesn't take skill or football knowledge to be successful anymore at this game.

Could I have run a zero blitz at the guy? Sure. Would he have had time to throw it 40 yards downfield? Probably not. Unless he knew how to stop the loop blitz....but again, all of this is cheese, glitchy, whatever u wanna call it. It's essentially manipulating the AI of a game instead of the AI reacting correctly to your play calls, input, skills, etc. And it has been the trend for some years now. So if I throw a blitz at this dude, glitch out his  O line so the guy bloicks air, loop fast guys in, and "trick" the AI, I am not better than him for using Parham who clearly gets glitchy animations. I don't wanna be that guy.
