Plus the opponent was a bunch trips/stretch RPO every play cheeser, definitely a toxic player

It wasn't as clear to me when I first read it but I assumed the other person as well. I hate assuming. So I thought I would ask.
I was trying to imagine where my 99 wr is usually lined up on a return kickoff. Normally he wouldn't be near the onsides kick unless I called an onsides kick return. I don't normally call an onsides kick return, so I would have needed to call a timeout or audible, at least the first time. I imagine that's what OP did but maybe OP likes to onsides kick after scoring, to teach those toxic players a lesson.

To combat onside kicking, I do not utilize the hands team, instead I go with the package that includes my LB's up front. They try and kick around/over gronks head and he catches the ball every time loool
I love when madden does that in obvious situations to get the other player in the game. Onsides won't work ever until you are up 1-2 scores in the 4th and the game decides now is the time to let the other team back in and possibly win. It's so obvious and sooooo bad
