Opinions on Playoffs Josh Allen

I'm ready to move on to a Playoffs theme team and it seems like the best non-LTD QB is Allen with his abilities stack. I've been hesistant to pull the trigger due to the Paranoid Sense Pressure trait which I believe ruined the ZC Jalen Hurts. 

I also really want to try out a Pass Lead Elite with HRM/GW stack because I move around a lot in the pocket but I won't have enough for Gunslinger. Not sure if anyone has tried that or if the preference is to use SFL/HRM/GS but then there's no gift wrapped.

I haven't gone up against many Josh Allens in H2H/Mut Champs so I'm not sure if he's worth the upgrade from Andrew Luck who in my opinion doesn't even need Gunslinger.

His release is so slow, I can't count how many times I've gotten sacked on those short throws.

I switched to Allen from Perry and went back to Perry after 3 games. I used HRM and SFL and no GS, it was rough. I felt like he could never get the ball out on time.

I  use him with PLE and GS, his short throws are slower than Luck but Medium and Long throws are faster.  I considered going back but have stuck with Josh so far.

Do use gift wrapped? If not, do you notice more drops?

Gunslinger is a requirement. 

I have him at 99 TP  and he's awesome.

I won back to back super bowls with him on legend. He is top tier

He is so good for me I would say use him.

I don’t think his release is that bad, I mean it’s not crazy slow, but it’s not out in .1 seconds, I think he is great and I run HRM, SFL and Gunslinger

I use Allen with GS, HRM, and SFL. Very quick release and deep ball is almost always perfect( 98THP and 97DAC). Only issues I ever have is throwing on the run to the sidelines sometimes. I get inaccurate penalties. he does get out the pocket quickly and is mobile enough when passed the LOS

if you can afford a playoff TT then just try him out and if you don’t like him switch it up

I switched to him today and mixed results.   If coins are tight just stay with what you have.   If coins dont matter then why not try him out.

His short release is bad, but you can scheme around it. I have multiple short routes mixed in with some deep routes, and he throws absolute dots for the most part. Just have to be mindful of where the blitz is coming from, if any.

Not saying it will get you to swtich but there is a plus 2 which you can use for your Joe Montana in the Season Pass which would put him on par to Allen in OVR but obviously not in speed or ability stack.
