Ex: Zirksee, Swift, etc. they promote coin buying websites where if u spend money on there you can get banned from the game after for buying coins. Why does nobody bat an eye that such large channels are literally promoting pure scams where people are just losing money and getting banned for listening to them??? Just pathetic.
My biggest problem is EA ruining things for everyone else under the guise of alot of it having to do with them stopping coinselling while simultaneously blatantly ignoring their best known community members (some of whom literally partner with them and do streams on EAs accounts etc) doing it.
I feel mostly bad for the ones who don’t know it’s against the rules to buy coins. Young kids who watch a Zirksee video and decide to buy coins to get banned from the game. That blows!
This is what annoys me about CC too. He pretends to be a man of the people but promotes that shit all the time. Very annoying.
MMG does it sometimes too, but he’s such an annoying pain in the ass that you just expect him to be a sell out...at least his WOM content is fun (when he’s not trying to be funny). CC’s content is usually lame. Blindfolded card opening? Ok man, cool.
You see this stuff happening, just watch averages for really high traffic cards and you'll see some big round numbers like 400,000 on a 172k average card going through. I saw a 1.4M on a 93 ZC card just happen over the weekend.
Most of them barely play the game you can see it by their field pass progression. most of us here have forgot more then they know about Madden. Lots of them aren’t even good players.
My only theory is that because the YouTubers are saying to use it, Ea knows it and doesn’t ban those who buy them. and then they get a percentage. otherwise I doubt the people would be doing it unless they’re total trolls

that is very possible

it just makes sense especially with the way we’re treated from this game. If you buy with money they love you!
At least mmg doesn’t promote them anymore he’s a bit pissed off bu them cus he can’t buy coins anymore lol

That was me two years ago I was new to Madden and bought some coins from a reseller promoted by a youtuber. DIdn't realize I would get banned by EA. I found out the hard way quickly.

That’s horrible!!

Poor CC is a straight up degenerate gambler, liek as bad as gambling addiction can get -- his videos are painful to watch at this point (having many of those same addictive tendencies), he's no different than any other crakkhead / junkie, etc. Constantly in search of that "good feeling" / dopamine release, or whatever that may mean to him.

I used to (half) jokingly suggest that i was going to create a support group, MUT Anonymous... then i became a full blown MUT-junkie, myself. And i've begun to realize this is no laughing matter. Especially when the bulk of this content is pushed out to literal children. EA knows full well what they are doing and continue to laugh all the way to the bank.
Based on my limited understanding, if you run coin ads on your site, the only repercussion is that EA won't directly partner with these streamers and content creators... but otherwise EA continues to turn a blind eye.
I wasn't able to gift any of my coins or cards from `23, due to the sheer amount of scams running wild, both on this site, as well as EA outright banning folks for trying to help out community members, or kick stuff down to their friends. And i'm currently battling my second ban from the auction house already during `24 season, accused of "coin selling" for merely listing high-demand Team Diamonds set pieces on the AH, back when Dak Prescot 83 OVR Core Elite was selling left and right for nearly ~200k each. Look at the price history.
The chances of this ever becoming a fair, balanced and competitive H2H game is essentially zero, as long as EA has an exclusive license for fatball simulation with the NFL. This topic remains of great interest to me.

Because not buying coins and playing the way EA wants you to play will leave you frustrated and miserable.
If you think coin buying/selling is bad, do you think EA’s game model is good? If not, well how do think you fight EA?
