Lately I’ve become more and more irritated and burnt out by the amount of OOP Players being released. I realize that this is the nature of MUT - building a team of your favorite players with minimal limitations is a young football fan’s dream.
But we’ve not only reached a point of saturation (naturally, it’s June), but we’re making OOP Players that either have never played that side of the ball, or never played that position in general. We’ve got Vince Wilfork & The Fridge at QB, Mike Evans & Harold Carmichael at SS, and a plethora of other ridiculous combinations.
I just wish we’d stuck to real-life Players who played two-ways/multiple positions. For example, Ryan Tannehill was a WR before he was a QB. Taysom Hill is another example of one of those Swiss Army Knife-type players. But that’s not as FLASHY nor would it generate even close to the amount of revenue - which if you ask me, is the reason for almost ALL of EA’s shortcomings and oversights in this game. Money > Consumer happiness.
