you have to be careful shading down match because it turns off your quarter flats, while this is good against plays like bench, in other situations the quarter flats are supposed to match corners and posts from the number 2 receiver on their side. Also if they send the hb out on a wheel or streak he wont be matched and its an easy lob TD. Same with against Trips sets, you change your quarter flat on the 3 receiver side into a hard flat and the middle receiver isn't matched, so a play like verticals is once again a easy lob TD. 

I run all match quarters, palms, cover 6 and some cover 3 match, and I rarely shade unless I know for sure its bench, and even then I'd rather play cover 6 and user the other flat. It's just something you have to be aware of like the bunch bomb and pick our moments.

 Honestly,  I don’t ever run quarters against bunch or trips. I switch to Cover  9. But I agree with what you said

If ur shading down ur match coverage, yes i do. 

Unless you are usering it, and at that point ur in a very bad spot because you wouldn’t be able to user The middle, where most things would get open.

sorry missed that part, I agree though cover 6/9 is better against bunch most of the time because if they run a C route the solo check cb will get burned because its technically MEG coverage on him. I like to go soft squat and then user the vert hook defender so I can cheat over if they block the back, matching deep half and soft squat do a great job bracketing the C route and all I have to worry about is the HB.
