pause glitch PS5 (cross play)

Hey everyone, 

Okay, I  haven't played Madden in years, mainly because of all the glitches, bad animations, EA being greedy, etc. So yesterday I decided to finally come back, today I am on Ultimate Team and on  5 game win streak with a 77 ovr team. However currently, as in RIGHT NOW, I'm stuck on a pause glitch with a PC player. Is there a way around this? or am I going to have to stop playing this game for good or turn cross-play off? I've been sitting here for 30 mins just seeing if this guy wants the win that bad (I am up 23-14).

unfortunately nope. nothing you can do. i’ve reported players like that in the past yet still matched with them again. EA doesnt do much if it’s not coins or a glitch against a youtuber/pro

Nvm he finally quit the game, I outlasted him. Only took an hour of my time SMH. Guess I'll turn cross-platform off. Peekzu, you need some professional help.

first thing I did was turned cross play off. It is the first thing I do on any new game.
