This one stings. That’s a bad precedent to set.
Hopefully they come out with another one to earn one. I’m ok w/ spending some cash here or there on a fun offer, but they won’t be getting my money for this one. Leaves a bad taste in the mouth.

At this point Ultimate legends will have xfactor abilities on all game as well with UL xfactor tokens you can purchase.

Yea this is insane lmao.... just completely pay to win and the only way to acquire it is through paying... usually everything can be acquired with coins or training, but to just give out Op x factors for money is silly

Uggh, thanks to the community for always being on the ball here. As if the difference in players/cards wasn't enough, now they're locking abilities behind legit paywalls. These Superbowl cards are game-changing, I've spent most of the weekend dreaming of what i'll do with the next Light it Up token once we're able to earn and unlock those, goodness gracious.
However, unless i missed something, i believe it's 1 extra Light it up Token (not four), but your point remains incredibly valid. So earn two (from SB Field Pass), then pay to "earn" the third? Fuckina, that alone is nearly worth fifty bucks, bleh.
For example, taking Chuck Howley from a good, to above average user (95 base SPD, with 0AP LurkArtist, okay okay)... to a full on nuts, possibly in conversation for THE best user in the entire game, 97 base SPD, 97 ACC, 96 COD with always-on Universal Coverage (all Zone and Man KOs wrapped into a single ability) makes him absolutely NUTS. I'm running 30/70 SB & 30/50 49ers squad, plus 15/60 Playoffs for slight bump to STR for my linemen.
We're nearing the end-game now, fellas. Things are going to continue getting squirrely from here, oof.

This is ridiculous... Wont be long before you are able to pay to have a 4th X-Factor Player on Offense and Defense!!! So now not only will the ones who pay "Usually" have the highest end team possible, they will now have extra abilities.... So glad im taking next year off from this madness....

This is 100% a test by EA to see if they can get away with eliminating the AH next year...they're trying to see how many will pay outright for this advantage.
